Shouldn't MIT be the country's leading defender of science? Today, MIT isn't asking any tough questions about the COVID vaccines and refuses to let people with dissenting views talk on campus.
Dear President Reif,
Nearly 24 years ago, I made a $2.5 million gift to MIT to aid in the construction of the Stata Center and in return, MIT named the Kirsch Auditorium in my honor.
Since that gift, I have never once requested to speak in the auditorium named after me.
Recently, however, I made such a request to speak about vaccine safety.
I was denied.

We now have an MIT faculty sponsor. It will be hard to stop this. Malone and others will join me. Calling RFK now.
This mit grad endorses the sentiment. Also, not giving any donations until they stop the political crap. I told them on the phone.
It's been a long slide to wokeness there.
Kirsch: Here is a donation of $2.5 million.
MIT: Thank you. In return we are naming an auditorium after you.
Kirsch: Can I speak at this auditorium?
MIT: No.
Anyone thimk MIT will allow free speech?
I hooe ge demands a refund
As an Alabamian, I remember when the only thing I'd poke fun at MIT about was when their deans made the rounds in the 1980's to tell us over and over not to do missile defense, that "you can't hit a bullet with a bullet". Of course, less than 8 years after Reagan signed the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) into law, the Patriot missile deigned by engineers in Huntsville Sweet Home Alabama was getting a 94% interception rate in the first month of the first Iraq War. LOL
Reif sent an email on 1.7.21 about how 1.6.21 shocked him. I asked him whether Election Day shocked him. Testimony about vote fraud from 1,000 people. Inaction from legislatures and judiciary. No response.
Told him I was ashamed of Jonathan Gruber. Seth Lloyd. Gang Chen. Rafael Reif. Still no response.
The fund raising emails continue to arrive. No response from me.
