I know it sounds like a soap opera, and I pray for all the lives in jeopardy in this mess.
I’m sure Russia planned to roll in its tanks and take the cities quickly. It’s only a few days but we repeatedly heard of “heavy fighting” and no cities taken. Now they have to contemplate block to block urban warfare. They either don’t want to do it, or they are setting up for a final push.
The dream here is a Ukraine victory. I wish to hell we would get Zelensky the ammo he’s begging for.
A city can hold out for a very long time against superior forces and very terrible conditions. Stalingrad is a prime example.
We will see.
We don’t know the half of it. We are getting a lot of Ukraine Propaganda here. Its going to get a lot worse. Putin hoped for a quick war but—like all wars, this one will have a life of its own. Watch as we get sucked in after an “atrocity” or some “Humanitarian Crisis” or a “Russian War Crime” Real or imagined. I fear the worst and our leadership will blunder us into a shooting war with Russia and an invasion of Russia from Poland. Think WW I and the coming WW III. Biden is spoiling for a fight.
I am not rooting for either side but what fox news isn't telling us is that Ukraine and EU have been pilfering gas and not paying debts
I remember back to the gulf war 1 when they failed to tell us they were slant drilling and pilfering Iraq's oil from Kuwait and that is why Sadaam sent troops to Kuwait

I think Putin is an interesting study in the terror of a guilty conscience. Is said to be a COVID fanatic. Won’t let people within 40 feet of him unless they’re vaxxed and checked for weeks. A killer, as he approaches his judgment, fears going before God even if he says he’s an atheist. Can become unhinged, unstable, unpredictable. Is God gonna use him as an instrument of punishment for a corrupt world?
Once read an Internet comment about a woman whose friend had an abortion. Friend was previously stable and normal but after the abortion became a hypochondriac.
After the first sin, the man and the woman in the Garden hid from God for fear of his punishment. We don’t get away with anything. Repentance is the human being’s only hope.
The Russians are proving they still can’t fight at night. Something we were doing in the 80s.
It’s obvious the Russians are taking huge losses and when the occupation starts...then what?

I don’t have an opinion about this war. I don’t have enough reliable information to form one. But I’m inclined to believe that whatever Bidet supports is against US interests.
If it turns out to be an embarrassment like the Admiral Kuznetsov (Russia's only carrier that broke down in 2012 off the coast of France and had to be towed by a tug), this could be the end of Putin's career.
