How can a crisis that began with Russian soldiers entering Ukraine and Russia annexing a portion of Ukrainian territory be responsibility of Ukraine?
Better yet, how did we get to a place when one must explain that Russian forces taking over portions of Ukraine isn’t the responsibility of Ukraine, but Russia?
You hear it every time Zelensky speaks....the carrot is Nato membership and they have not delivered for Ukraine.
The conditions for joining nato have always been clear. They haven’t joined NATO yet despite the majority of Ukrainians wanting to join NATO. Despite the narrative by groß trolls, no country has been strong armed to join NATO

However, no country can join Nato with Border conflicts....thus Ukraine cannot join Nato regardless how much they want to.

We expanded NATO because it was in our national interest to do so in order to keep a post-Soviet Russia from trying to reassemble their old empire. Unfortunately, the man now in charge of Russia dreams of doing just that. A peaceful, democratic Russia would have no objection to NATO on their border.
