Ummm, because "we" "elected" an astonishingly weak president.

N.B.: 81 million "votes" ≠ 81 million voters.

Because we planted NATO on Russia’s front porch, needlessly cornering them in a way we would never have tolerated in our own part of the world.

Thanks for asking.

Because we planted NATO on Russia’s front porch

Since their government has been desperately, actively, aggressively evil since 1917, it's good that we did.

The Eastern half of Germany plus Eastern Europe agree.

Not sure I care whose fault. Unfortunately we need to stop Putin. Martin Niemoller quoted,”First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”. We either back Ukraine or not. But it is already ugly.Putin is to blame but so is a weak and feckless Brandon...

I rather figure if Russia did that on our Mexican or Canadian border {our front porch) we’d not sit still for long either.......on second thought Biden probably wouldn’t do a thing!

Ukraine wants to join NATO. NATO didn’t force them.

Ukrainians don’t want to be swallowed by Russia. Nit even the Russian speaking Ukrainians. The people wanted to move away from Russian style despotism.

Zelensky spoke today totally frustrated and angry that he had called 27 nation leaders about taking Ukraine into Nato.....silence. He was too frustrated. Said he’s alone....basically believing Ukrain’s been abandoned by Europe. His speech in Munich was equally one of passion and disappointment.

Can’t move away to Europe as long as they only dangle a carrot in front of you as Europes does with Ukraine. Ukraine should know they’re basically on their own when it comes to laying down their life.

Bingo.

Putin straight up long and repeatedly forewarned and warned NATO and the West concerning NATO encroachment on Russia. Their failure to listen to those warnings have come home.....

I’m going to say it started with the 0bama administration running a coup on the Ukrainian government back in 2013 or 2014

The New York Times wasn’t too concerned when Uncle Joe Stalin starved millions of Ukrainians to death in the winter of 1932-1933. Why be concerned now?

How can a crisis that began with Russian soldiers entering Ukraine and Russia annexing a portion of Ukrainian territory be responsibility of Ukraine?

Better yet, how did we get to a place when one must explain that Russian forces taking over portions of Ukraine isn’t the responsibility of Ukraine, but Russia?
