They didn’t actually see him take anything. He didn’t actually take anything. They chased him down in multiple cars. “Trapped him like a rat” (their words, under oath), and then were shocked when he tried to defend himself. And murdered him.
He was not lawfully placed under citizens arrest. Hence the conviction. It wasn’t a legal shooting, again CONVICTED. Nobody caved. They’re murderers.
Aubrey grabbed the shotgun barrel. That all they needed for stand your ground. He could have just complied and made a counter charge when the cops showed up. He fought, he lost. Murder has to be premeditated, it wasn’t. It was self defense and you can’t tell me if someone trying to get a gun from you, that you wouldn’t do the same thing.
And here you are once more repeating stupid stuff over and over again.
Arbery was a thug. He attacked the man holding the gun because he was a thug, and that's what thugs do in his culture.
He was not *defending himself.* That is *YOUR* incorrect interpretation of his mindset.
Arbery initiated the violence. He did not do so out of any fear of the man holding the shotgun, he did so out of fear the police (who's sirens he could hear at the time) would shortly arrive to arrest him, and therefore get his probation revoked.
He was not lawfully placed under citizens arrest.
He was not arrested at all. He charged a man and attacked him. At no point was Arbery under anyone's control, and therefore you cannot call it an "arrest." (Which means "stopped.")
"Arrest" = "Stopped" or "held" as in to prevent further movement.
Didn't happen.
