Well, this isn’t exactly a new story. The bleeding has been occurring for years, and Democrats have ignored it. It reached critical levels under Obama, where state party apparatuses truly withered away and died. Hillary Clinton pledged to fix that in 2016 but she lost the election. In the age-old debate about the allocation of outreach resources, the Left could have done what they should have which is double-down on rural white working-class voters or go all-in on the urban-based elites. The Democrats decided to do the latter. Four years later, Democrats saw their hopes of a huge House majority die thanks to their failure to reach out to people who aren’t unhinged ‘woke’ progressives from the cities. Trump lost, but Republicans made big gains in the House—whittling down the Democratic majority to just four seats.

As I recall it was only 5 counties that determined the electoral vote - counties which have now found more illegal or fraudulent votes than it took to steal the vote.
I actually applauded as I read the headline! It is about time they are treated correctly. Democrats should be hated, hunted and hounded.
As Bongino (courtesy of PJ O’Rourke) says, Republicans MAY not be the cure for all your problem, but Democrats ARE the CAUSE of All you PROBLEMS!
Amen
Ed
And this is bad news?
Still, Republicans are notoriously bad at remembering who brought them to the ball. Today’s trend is tomorrow’s reversal.
My favorite O’Rourke line, “Republicans are the party that says, ‘Government doesn’t work!’.....Then they get elected and prove it!”
Here is a hint. Longevity in office and the “bureaucracy” go hand in hand. Please ready ANYTHING proper conservatives have written about the growth of the administrative state in the last 20 years. I suggest you start with the Claremont Review of Books.
And please don't try to Fauchi anyone again.
“Trump lost, but Republicans made big gains in the House..”
See - that kind of cluelessness is what is destroying the Democrat Party - if they can’t even acknowledge that the election was rigged, they can never regain the trust of the voters (actual voters).
The same goes for the RINOs, who are just as clueless.
These midterms will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for real, honest, living voters to assert themselves against all the dishonest politicians and bureaucrats of both parties.
They pretend to represent us - but have no intention of doing so.
If there is one silver lining to the travesty of the November 3 stolen election - it is this: it made about 80 million Trump voters extremely angry, and woke a lot of people up to deep the corruption runs.
I’m not saying I’m 100% optimistic - but I’m looking forward to November for some reason
“And please, let’s not cry about these poor rural Democrats living in fear. They should since their agenda aims to destroy the country, but liberals in the cities would happily burn what few conservatives reside in their dominion so it cuts both ways.”
Absolutely. I live in an area that was once solidly red, but it has since turned a dark purple. We’re a stone’s throw from Cook County, and thus Chicago, so I understand all too well of this “fear” rural Democrats seem to be experiencing now.
Hold my (non-alcoholic) beer.
Well thought out response.
“‘Hatred’ is a bit over the top. Not who we are.”
It’s who I am. And if there’s a word stronger than “hate”, I’m there.
But can you make the TV say that? Who owns the TV stations controls the world against all truth.
If the SHTF I’m not doing one damn thing for any progressives. They don’t have back up food? Don’t care. They don own weapons to protect themselves from their marauding base? Don’t care.
People who hate me and openly admit to wanting to destroy me deserve nothing from me.
"Also, nonwhite voters are not as intense when it comes to…almost every issue. "
This is exactly right. "What have you got. to. lose?!" I want Trump to revive this acclimation in his stump speeches. Go Big Tent from the get-go.
“Trump lost”
NO HE DIDN’T!
Don’t EVER say Trump “lost” because he did not lose. He and us were CHEATED out of his reelection.
I know all of us here know that, but don’t allow ANYONE to say he lost.
Which is precisely why, as DonaldC noted, they deserve "no sympathy" ... to which I add, they deserve no quarter, no respect and especially no consideration as the Democrat/Communist Party's non-negotiable opening demand is, as, for example, is the PLO's toward Israel, the annihilation of the other party before any "negotiation" can begin.
“”I just read a story on NPR about a progressive family that moved from rural Indiana because they were “uncomfortable” among so many Trump supporters. Some bad people even put broken glass in their mailbox!
FWIW they went to Austin Texas to find happiness.”””
I love a happy ending!!
“I live in the rural Midwest. There’s no hatred of Democrats out here. Rural America is a pretty tolerant place.”
Among the people I know in rural Ohio where I live, we routinely ridicule and despise the Dems. You can read all about it on our 150-year old barns.
The demoncrats have nothing to worry about as long as they count the votes.
“Absolutely. I live in an area that was once solidly red...”
Same here in formerly red Lake County. DuPage suffered same fate. Young, affluent married with kids liberal white scum have fanned out from Chicago to collar counties.
These are the same kind of people who had no problem sending covid positive people into nursing homes killing tens of thousands. Same people that want as many abortions as possible. Same people who would gleefully send conservatives to the gas chambers.
Sorry but I hate commies.
I just read a story on NPR about a progressive family that moved from rural Indiana because they were “uncomfortable” among so many Trump supporters. Some bad people even put broken glass in their mailbox!
.............................................
It wouldn’t surprise me if it was discovered that NPR “paid” someone to put broken glass in their mailbox, maybe even the “progressive” family that’s on their way to Austin!
