When the media ended the censorship of the fact that "cloth masks are ineffective," Democrat governors could remove their mask mandates. So what did they do?
After two years, the media acknowledged that cloth face masks don't work to prevent the spread of COVID. Now our governors can align scientific consensus with policy.
After CNN and The Atlantic reported that face masks don't work, California and nine other Democrat governors revoked their state indoor mask mandates. That leaves only four states with continuing statewide mask mandates.
Has the evidence on masks changed? No. The CDC reviewed the scientific literature pre-pandemic and highlighted that ten high-quality randomized controlled trials (RCT) demonstrated that masks failed to prevent transmission of respiratory viruses. In May 2020, a Denmark RCT added to the literature showing that surgical masks don't reduce spread of COVID. The scientific evidence continues to accrue of mask inefficacy and harms.
Miller's new book Unmasked uses public COVID data to trace how California, which strictly followed CDC recommendations regarding lockdowns, masks, and closures, fared no better than nearby states with fewer restrictions. He tracks rates of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths in Florida and Sweden after experts predicted disaster that failed to manifest. He tracks countries and states initially lauded for high mask compliance with low case rates and then shows future surges up to 330,000%, which the media failed to report. While experts boldly asserted that face masks would save lives, all 50 states ranked by age-adjusted COVID mortality rates show no efficacy from statewide mask mandates.
Given the lack of scientific backing for masks, who is complying with the mask mandate? People like my parents watch the local TV news daily and believe that contracting COVID is a death sentence.

In the workplace, it’s a sign of being a pureblood. Even though the whole thing is getting very old, I wear it proudly and answer all questions. Unfortunately, the vaxxed cannot be unvaxxed.
The liberal leftists in Windsor, VT just instituted a city wide mask mandate just last week.
Two years into this thing, when it’s almost over, they are still doubling down on tyranny.
As you would expect from the government of VT. The people are not happy and some places are not enforcing it.
Still seeing the occasional person, alone in their car, with a mask on. I seriously wonder what they could possibly be thinking. I wonder if so many people have lost their ability to reason and choose to just live their lives by doing what the TV tells them. No need to have a conscience, or make reasoned decisions, just do what they tell you without having to work things out spiritually or mentally.
They will always live in fear - always be "masked-up", it is their new default position. Sad.
The MASK was the first tool of the leftists and RINOs to instill the ‘fear’ of COVID in order to break every right under the sun to their advantage, without the FEAR it would be harder to control and issue EDICTS. This is now their last symbol they are desperately trying to hang on in order to justify the FAKE fear.

”Experts”. LOL. “Expertise” ain’t what it used to be. When you hear “expert” today, you can be sure whatever comes next is complete b.s., and almost certainly completely wrong.
The media induced panic will never end for some people. I saw a woman shopping in a nearly deserted grocery store at 10pm wearing rubber gloves, long sleeves, a respirator face mask and a face shield.
Keep masking, libs. So we can know who they are and avoid any interaction with them.
