Gilda Radner gained wide recognition in 1975, as one of the original "Not Ready for Prime Time Players" on the first season of Saturday Night Live. She was the first performer to be cast in the show, and co-wrote much of the material she performed.

I never cared much for any of them. Especially not Chevy Chase, John Belushi or Dan Akroyd.
Ah, Gilda. You were taken from us way too soon.

Geezus.....
“I never cared much for any of them. Especially not Chevy Chase, John Belushi or Dan Akroyd.”
I agree with you re: Chevy Chase, who was the most untalented, unfunny, wooden piece of crap I have ever seen.
He did his narrow range well in the right material: the first Vacation film, Funny Farm...
To each his own for example I found Robin Williams to be more tedious then funny.
Chase needed good writers without them, well there’s only so many ways and so many times you can fall down and be funny.

I didn’t watch them precisely because he was in them. I just could not stand the guy.
Well they are really good and work based on the annoying aspects of his characters.
I liked her.
Just now read a little bit about her on Wiki to remind myself... and it makes me wonder how in the world doctors could have misdiagnosed her for such a long time that it became an absolute death sentence for her.
RIP, funny girl.
Never mind ...
I cried when she died. She’s the only celebrity that could ever draw that kind of emotion from me on the funny side and on the very sad side. RIP
Yea, he reminds me of Kevin Bacon in Animal House.
We don’t care.
Radner was great. She was hilarious, sweet and humble.
She was a brilliant physical comedian.
so sad she is gone.
I recently watched a Joe Rogan interview with Dan Aykroyd. Say what you will , but Dan has a lot of knowledge in that brain of his. He seems like a good guy with a major obsession with UFO’s.
