Reports of fighting in metro Atlanta schools are becoming so common that some parents are letting their kids skip school.
Channel 2′s Michele Newell spoke with parents of students at Cass High School in Bartow County where several fights have been recorded and posted to social media over the last few days.

Calling this “metro” Atlanta is a stretch. This is pretty far NW up I-75.
The bathroom fires IIRC are a Tik Tok challenge.
The fighting is more of the cultural breakdown + permissive idiocy ‘in charge’ of public schools.
Bartow county is not Metro Atlanta.
This is not to say masks don't make this a further issue, but looking at full context of the area I'd say the issue is more so the general area and culture of the county schools.
Bartow is the “rural suburb of the suburbs” as I call it.
Former Cass teachers we know affectionately call it Chaos HS.
The Bartow Sheriff takes a dim view of permissiveness when it comes to Yutes destructive behaviors or actions (be they redneck or protected class).
I know a good bit of people that live in Bartow county. I lived there many years ago, as well. Let me make this clear: Almost all the people from Bartow County take a lot of pride with not being a part of metro-Atlanta.
This is just the media’s attempt at further enlarging Atlanta’s political arm.
There are no natural boundaries that separate Atlanta from the rest of the state. There are tons of liberals moving to East Cobb and bringing in their big city democrat values.
