Just in our little rural town, population 35,000, in eastern NC, we have several homeless tent “cities” across from Walmart and a few other places.
Never would have believed it could be like this is such a rural area.
This also explains the growing liberal contempt for people in “empty, flyover” country.

That’s because Trump actually won in a landslide. Democrats are thrives and immoral people, they should feel ostracized and shunned.
If recent history is any guide,
Democrats will win, even if it takes 20x the population of the entire state to do so.
The press will back them.
The DNC will back them.
The RNC might grumble a little, but will back them.
The supreme court will sit this one out.

I live in a midwest flyover metro area of ~210K people. I haven't seen any tent cities. The panhandling got really bad for a while. They were all over the main intersections at major shopping areas. Some of it may have been legit during the worst stages of the lockdowns. Once things started to normalize and almost all the stores had help wanted signs posted at the door, most of the panhandlers disappeared.
The MSM, never strays from the narrative. The Left controls every branch of government, controls all news and social media, controls big medicine and healthcare, and has a deathgrip on public education. But, according to this farcical story, which is most likely fake, it’s Democrats in this country that are running scared. It’s Democrats who are the victims of Republican aggression.
These appear to be homeless as opposed to illegals according to my son who works part time at pizza shop in the strip with the Walmart.
The wooded area across the road is filled with tents and abandoned shopping carts and copious amounts of trash. He tells me there are used needles all over the place in that area.
They raid the dumpsters behind the strip mall day and night.
