It’s guaranteed that you won’t find this absurdity in nations where people struggle for food, water, shelter and freedom.
I was shocked not long ago when I read a piece on the Newsweek website. The headline read “Nearly 40 Percent of U.S. Gen Zs, 30 Percent of Young Christians Identify as LGBTQ, Poll Shows.” That, aside from Joe Biden providing free crack pipes to help address racial inequality, is the most absurd thing I may have ever read. Not so much for the data itself per se, but rather, an illustration of exactly how malleable (and lost) young Americans are.
Whatever the natural percentage of LGBTQwhatever people in the United States is, it’s sure as hell not 40%. It’s probably closer to low single digits. Whatever it actually is, somehow with the left’s championing the of the rainbow, magically 40% of young people identify with it… not tolerate it, not say no problem with it, not even say, good for them, but against the tide of tens of thousands of years of human history, are now, or at least “identify” as, LBGTQwhatever. That tells you a lot about the state of America today.

Exactly! Most of the kids who are currently “identifying” as lesbian, or gay, or trans aren’t really having sex with a same sex partner, they are simply answering a pollster’s question in the way they think makes them part of the “in crowd”.
Case in point: a few years ago the daughter of a friend announced to her (deeply Christian)mother that she was a lesbian, and she had a girlfriend. A few months ago, this same young woman gave birth to a baby boy with her boyfriend.
Another case in point: also a few years ago my nephew announced to my sister that he was trans and really a woman. He demanded she get him hormone therapy and even posted a photo of himself “growing breasts”. He spoke of how welcoming his “trans support group” was of him. Today? Well he’s decided he’s male after all.
I strongly suspect this “poll” is intended to influence the thoughts of young people, just like most other polls.
Yep, especially since it was a Newsweek online poll.
It’s the easiest way for white kids to climb the grievance ladder.
It’s the current morally bankrupt corrupt youth culture.
K12 insanity supplements it but its primary culture..

Is his mother feeding him that soy crap? It causes estrogen in the body, and affects the thyroid. If the kid is hypothyroid, he will have no energy, gain weight, continue to feel unattractive and also depressed. Changing gender to an overweight female is not going to help one bit.

No, it was an online Newsweek article, but the study it was citing was a Barna Research Group poll, one which I could not find on Barna's website, and in which Barna only sampled 600 individuals. So I call BS on both the poll and the reporting, as well as your reading comprehension. :-)

Fair enough. Still the poll is highly suspect. Not only was the polling sample terribly small, but, as you noted, you couldn’t find any information on the poll on the polling organization’s own website. So, we have no information on the the poll’s internals.
I very much question the accuracy of this poll.
Being homo is cool right now and probably three times as actual claim it to some degree just to seem Interesting.

If it WERE true they are demographically doomed to be gone in a generation. Yes I know they can adopt and etc but few do and if they do, not in large numbers.

The article is from today. The study that it referred to was from 10/20/21. The study was hotlinked in the article in the first paragraph.
I question the results of the study too. The students probably answered based on what they thought would please their teachers. If they understood what it meant most would probably gag.

You are partially but not entirely correct; I am partially but not entirely in error. I apologize for scolding you. I opened the link to the article, which was indeed dated 10/21/21, but could not find the Barna study to which that article’s link referred on the Barna site going back several years.
