Help me build a list of words redefined by the "woke" crowd and the Left. We have to actively take our language back.
The Left, the Woke, the Progressives, the whoever believe they are, apparently have the power and the right(!) to redefine what words mean, who can use them/ who cannot, words that insinuate meaning (aka 'dog whistles') etc. For too long we have gone along with that. Let's first identify the words they are redefining, co-opting and restricting, and restore them to OUR usage, in our culture.
So help me capture the words 'they' seek to control and contort. More below.

So help me capture the words 'they' seek to control and contort.
'They' preach diversity yet NEVER reciprocate, and do NOT intend to. As we all know it's all about control, not any real commitment to real virtue. 'They' do not and have no intention of tolerating 'our culture' and demand we conform to theirs and leave ours behind. That has to stop. WE can stop it.
Why do 'they' believe they have the real power to decide what is permissable? Well, we give it to them. And yeah, the Courts don't help since the 60s.
So here goes, let's start capturing their special lexicon - the words 'they' have warped, and if you like also add in the words they do not permit.
I'll kick it off in the first comment.
I suppose “Gay” would be the first word. Once upon a time it used to mean happy.
“gender” in the sociological sense and a substitute for “sex”.
Perfectly good linguistic term, but it was redefined by a pervert.
“marriage” is one.
Followed by “yes” and “no”.

Coup
Diversity
Equity
inclusion

Black
Insurrection
Peaceful
Rebellion
Privilege
[phrases are also useful]
White Supremacy

You get the idea.
Once the listing is populating I’ll author a follow-up post on how to take language back, in the name of actual cultural diversity.

Equity. Thak one gets me. Equality is not enough. There must be value added to ‘equality’ to make things right.

I remember as a young Christian being troubled by the phrase “make love” as a polite phrase for sex. God is love, sex is not.
Same for ‘sleeping with someone’

“They” believe they hold the power to decide what is permissble. We have to stop that. Now. To me that is a task and a principle the Church has abandoned.
Absent God there is no morality, there is only the power to decide what is permitted, or not.
WHY do we let them tell us what words in our culture can be used at large alongside their culture? How explicitly intolerant, eh?
