I don't see what there is to be afraid about. Those funds wete to provide for food, fuel, and assistance for those seeking peaceful redress with their representatives. If that is considered and treated a crime, as opposed to a financed campaign of mayhem in 2020, then such punitive actions of the authorities only confirms the complaints of those engaged in protest.

At some point, as you have said, one must stand up to it and say "enough".

At the risk of misrepresenting the founding fathers who signed the Declaration of Independence, those signers knew what they were facing in the cause of freedom (and indeed, a good number did suffer).
