Neighbor is going to have a look and then I have an appointment with dealership on the 22nd to check the calipers they replaced last year.

Another word of advice then: stay away from dealerships unless the car is under warranty.

A friend once described taking your car to a dealership: take it in with 2 problems and they'll fix one, leave one, and create one. Ha, ha. And they are way more expensive than private automotive shops.

Crap, didn’t think of that. I was just in a boring meeting.

I understand what you’re saying, liberty. The caliper work is still under warranty, thankfully.

And just like that, another timeless old adage is proven true.

I’m taking it back to the dealership who replaced the two calipers. It’s still under warranty, thankfully.

Loose wheel, Brake Pad chatter, Wheel Bearing, CV Joint, Loose Caliper.

Take everything apart on the Wheel location - one step at a time. Fix it and check the other Front Wheel.

Get back to us when problem is solved.

Good luck and drive carefully.

I had a 70 Dodge Charger SE. I wish I still had it.

In the movie Bulitt, the Mustang was heavily modified, the Charger was stock.

Now it is sounding like a sticky caliper. Usually, in the beginning, a sticky caliper will show up after driving and braking after everything heats up. It will exhibit as a steering pull to the right (if right-side caliper) while driving, and a pull to the left while braking. My best guess is an issue with the right front caliper related to the caliper work done in the fall. Also, a sticky caliper will cause the rotor to heat up to almost red hot. If you could stand next to it you can feel the heat coming off of it (don’t touch it! You’ll get a blister!) It will also stink.
Is there snow on the ground where you are?

Have a mechanic pull off the right front wheel. Check the brakes for warn pads, loose caliper, suspension issues, or a wheel issue. That’s the start.

No snow, unfortunately, or I would have my two burnt fingers by stupidly grabbing the exhaust while trying to get further under the car stuck deep in the snow. Stupididy hurtz.
