Family courts in this country are out of control. The laws are insane. Family court judges are given ‘great latitude’ by law and this is how they can demand things that by any other constitutional right standard is just way over the line. They are basically empowered by the state to be unaccountable Nazis.

Talk to any family law lawyer and they’ll tell you any number of stories just as bad as this one. Judges have WAY too much power. A family law judge can put you in prison with no charges at his whim. Should be against the law. Probably is against the law. Try fighting it.
A family law judge was acting like an idiot. My attorney very politely started outlining the facts, which were counter what she said. She ordered him to shut up. I had no defense as we were not allowed to speak at all. That’s because the female judge was so bad that any response would have shown how bad she was. We were not allowed to say anything in my defense. Nothing.
