Florida Senator Marco Rubio wrote amendments to the Lacey Act, approved by the House and now before the Senate, that creates a White List of approved species. 1500 species of all animals and wild collected plants will be legal to ship. All the rest are banned. This ends the collection and protection of rare and endangered species and guarantees their destruction. Politics just bit us on the nose. What are we going to do about it?
They’ll make everything illegal, then let the corrupt Soros DA’s and prosecutors decide who to go after.
I think they should catch all those big snakes and turn them loose in DC.
I don’t think that is how a “white list” works. White listed are deemed acceptable. It does not mean the rest are on a “black list.”
Re-electing Amnesty Senators is just retarded.
Do you want him to give away our country?
The other Amnesty Senator up in 2022 is Hoeven.
I guess there are no other problems to solve. Maybe we can start calling migrants “banned pets”.
“I think they should catch all those big snakes and turn them loose in DC.”
I have a feeling someone already has.
They allow China to export stray dogs here. We don’t have enough rescue dogs I reckon.
Pets = nuisance so it doesn’t worry me too much
Maybe its just me but I don’t think anyone has any business owning an African cobra (the deadliest serpent known) as pets. Yea?
Louis, is the old dude in the linked video you?
Rubio tackling those big issues that keep us up at night.
guess he uses locally sourced gerbils...
"Third, the bill establishes a presumptive prohibition on the importation of any nonnative species of wild mammal, wild bird, fish (including mollusks and crustacea), amphibian, or reptile, or the eggs of any such species."

Florida has escaped invasive species problems: iguanas, pythons and Nile monitor lizards that I can name.
Why bother banning any type of pet? It’s just more government oversight into our personal lives. Although I don’t personally have a desire for a lion 🦁, wolf 🐺, bear 🐻 or tiger 🐯as a pet, I also believe people should be free to keep whatever animals they want to as pets and they need to be able understand the risks of doing so.
I also object reactively to new laws that limit freedom and commerce. But the title of this post is ridiculously misleading.
I’ve been wanting Florida to ditch rino Rubio even before his robocalls during the Florida primaries: “Vote for me, because a vote for anyone else is a vote for Trump!”.
If this is what it takes to get him kicked, the better.
