A little more than a year after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, Americans remain deeply divided about the events of that day and the ongoing congressional investigation into what happened.
Last year, in the immediate wake of Jan. 6, about half of U.S. adults (52%) said Donald Trump bore a lot of responsibility for the violence and destruction committed by some of his supporters that day.
Today, 43% say this.
The share of adults who say Trump bears some responsibility has changed little since then, but more Americans now say Trump bears no responsibility for the mayhem caused by his supporters that day (32% today vs. 24% then).
The new survey was conducted Jan. 10-17, prior to several developments involving the Jan. 6 investigation and Trump’s actions following the 2020 election...

Exactly, and Trump always stated “peaceful” action.
He did not seek to or inspire riotous activity.

I don’t know where you got that shit from. But no Americans said Trump had anything to do with the January 6 riot. President Trump and his supporters never participated in the riot. The participants were ANTIFA, BLM, and FB l undercover agents. Trump supporters were not attempting to get Traitor Pence to “undo” or overthrow an election as the liars suggest. I suppose if you are going to lie, lie big. Or as Gerbbels said, “Shout a lie long enough and loud enough and people will believe it”. And that is what happened. Again , no American believes President Trump is /was responsible for the January 6 riots. What the other parasites who reside here say, I do not care.

There was no riot on Jan 6.
What event are they referring to?
The right needs to stop letting the left define and control the narrative.
By using their lingo, it validates the lefts lies and shows them who is in control.
When the Republicans take over the House next January they need to hold their own Jan 6 investigation. No need to have a single Democrat on that committee. They can start by releasing all of the video footage and all of the communications by the capital police. They can investigate FIB involvement - we all know they are implicated heavily.
They need to highlight police brutality and the murder of one possibly two unarmed protestors by the capital police. They need to highlight the violation of the political prisoners’ constitutional rights in corrupt DC prisons and the incredibly biased DC courts, etc etc. Then after 2 years of this we’ll see what the public thinks.
McCarthy had better show the balls to do this.
