My carbon fibre race bike weighs 14.5 pounds.
Although, I did see a CF seat tube snap in half. Luckily, no serious injury. Yikes.
Both my bikes are steel.
The only one I still ride is a heavy touring/expedition bike that weighs about 30 pounds
