American truckers are planning the Convoy to DC 2022 after seeing what Canadian Truckers Freedom Convoy has done in Canada and the U.S-Canada border. This Freedom Convoy is tentatively planned for March 2022.
The Convoy to DC 2022 will be very similar to the Canadian Truckers Freedom Convoy but the one major difference will be the sheer size. Lets look at the numbers. Canada has between 35,000 - 60,000 owner operators nationwide. The U.S. by contrast has over 350,000 owner operator truck drivers and that number may be considerably higher when considering small carriers and those who refer to themselves as owner operator truckers.
This is because there are over 500,000 trucking companies in the United States and 80% of them are considered small trucking companies with fleet sizes of 6 trucks or less. With over 2,000,000 semi trucks on the road in the U.S., we can know one thing for sure, the American Convoy to DC will be sight to be seen and not easily forgotten.
Until very recently, there was a very large Facebook Group called Convoy to DC 2022 with over 130,000 members but unfortunately Facebook removed the group for one reason or another and recently news came out that the Biden Administration is doing everything it can to prevent this Freedom Convoy from happening.
The American Trucker Convoy to DC is supposed to start in California and go east from there all the way to Washington, DC and will likely take Interstate-40 since other routes may not be very practical depending on weather conditions.
It can be said that the truckers will take all the necessary time to make sure their demands are met. At the very least, they will take Two Weeks to Flatten the Curve and ask the State and Federal Governments to comply, so that things can get back to normal. After all, we're all in this together!
They don’t have to enter DC. Blockade every main road that feeds DC.
I think doing the state capitols would be better. Block off DC - fed workers would just leave and then you’re left blockading a bunch of poor black people. That’s who actually lives in DC. Fed workers commute from the outskirts. Pols all have mansions in their home states they’ll go to.
Maybe blockade the nice neighborhoods in Northern VA and anywhere else all those fed workers live.
Gotta keep in mind, the US has more of a militarized LEO force than Canada.
You need to look beyond the immediate moment and concentrate on the objective.

You want people on your side, not pissed off because you deliberately cut their food supply and other services.
Most people who want food and services are in that immediate moment and are concentrating on that objective. Take those away, and you now have enemies you do not want.
This is reason enough for why it should happen. The Biden Administration is all about tyranny.

Dumping a bunch of tea inconvenienced a few thousand, if that many, in the Boston, Mass colony - you are proposing to cause deliberate hardship on tens of millions in all states for an indefinite period to achieve a political end that many do not support, unfortunately.

True Dat. A much higher percentage of Canadian trucking companies cross the border than US companies.
As a lumber broker, I deal with trucking companies all the time. Very few of the US companies cross the border. Almost ALL of the Canadian trucking companies cross the border.
Most people do not realize that 90% of the people in Canada live within 200 miles of the US border. I read a couple weeks ago that about 90% of the food that ends up in Canada either originates in the US or travels through the US to get to Canada. Canada only has four major coastal ports that large vessels can get to(Vancouver, Montreal, Quebec City and St Johns, NB)
To get to Toronto(lake Ontario) and beyond you need to go through locks and canals(Welland) to go farther up the Great Lakes. Also, Lake Erie typically freezes over every winter.
You apparently do not get it. Find another way.
