I've got a new idea for a hit song for Free Republic's Pied Paper.

It's a parody of David Crosby's "Almost Cut My Hair".

New title, "Almost Got my Jab"

I almost got my jab
It happened just the other day
My last Pfizer drug withdrawal time was getting kinda long.
You could-a said, I was desperate for a brand new jab.
But I didn't and I wonder why
I feel like letting my druggy jail bird flag fly
And I feel like I owe it to someone --the Pfizer Man.

Must be because I had Covid for Christmas
And I'm not feelin' up to par
It increases my paranoia
Like lookin' at my mirror and seein' a Texas police car
But I'm not givin' in an inch to six-packs of beer.
Cause I promised to stay sober this year.
I feel like I owe it to... the jogger I ran over.

If I could ever get myself together
I'd get down to that sunny southern weather
And I'd find a place to get my jabs and laugh
Separate the ugly truth about me from the chaff.
I feel like I owe it to someone -- the Pfizer Man.
