I see two possibilities.
1) Whomever named the worm thought it was a honor to name their discovery after Obama.
2) Whomever named it understood Obama was a worm and thus named it after him.
Either way, very very funny this worm is a problem.
Either hoisted on their own petard or laughing hysterically because their sarcasm hit home.
They’ll need giant Shrews to eat the Planaria. And Bobcats to eat the Shrews. And Dire Wolves to eat the Bobcats...
