“Which isn’t a bad reason to get vaccinated.”

But it is not a good reason to mandate vaccination or to fire people who choose not to be vaccinated.

"The scientific rationale for mandatory vaccination in the USA relies on the premise that vaccination prevents transmission to others, resulting in a “pandemic of the unvaccinated”.

Yeah, well … too bad it doesn’t. So much for that premise and that rationale.

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust.
And another one gone.
And another one gone.
Another one bites the dust.

I bought the name brand Betadine. The generic is probably just fine too.

Got mine at Walmart.

Bought it after I got the word one of the people I spent Christmas with tested positive for Covid the next day. Mixed it with nasal saline to make a 1% solution.

Ended up with 4 days of a sorta runny nose, sorta sore throat and loss of appetite. Less severe symtoms than the rest of my Christmas crowd though none of us had anything major.

I’ve been using Betadine, but it is expensive, so I’ve been using it only when I feel a sore throat coming on. It tastes ok.

Maybe you can explain this to us:

Sure, it's typical dishonest dailyexpose.com spin.

Here's the report the article's based on.

On page 7 they detail the hospitalizations and deaths by vaccination status. It shows:

Those known to be not fully vaccinated account for 1.5%* of cases yet 9.6% of hospitalizations and 25% of deaths.

Of the fully vaccinated .1% of cases result in hospitalization. Among the not fully vaccinated the number is 9.6%.

Of the fully vaccinated less than .1% of cases result in death. Among the unvaccinated the it's 4%.

The data are clear and unequivocal. The vaccines are very effective in preventing severe disease and death.

*The low percentage of cases attributed to the unvaccinated is probably an artifact of the reporting. There are a large number of cases where the vaccination status is still being researched and given that NSW has just over 90% fully vaccinated I'd expect many of the unknowns to be unvaccinated which would make their cases proportional to their population. Either way, it doesn't change the known numbers on hospitalizations and deaths.

The scientific rationale for mandatory vaccination in the USA relies on the premise that vaccination prevents transmission to others, resulting in a “pandemic of the unvaccinated”.

4 Yet, the demonstration of COVID-19 breakthrough infections among fully vaccinated health-care workers (HCW) in Israel, who in turn may transmit this infection to their patients,5 requires a reassessment of compulsory vaccination policies leading to the job dismissal of unvaccinated HCW in the USA.
“reassessment”

Translation: We could not sell the lie so we are scraping around for a way out.

BUMP!
