9 dead in North Las Vegas after speeding muscle car runs red light
Las Vegas Review Journal ^ | January 30, 2022 | Torres-Cortez and David Wilson

Cheyenne Avenue and Commerce Street in North Las Vegas reopened early Sunday, nearly 12 hours after a motorist blew through a red light and caused “a mass casualty traffic collision” that killed nine people, police said. The driver was going “north of” 80 miles per hour at the time of the crash, Clark County Office of Traffic Safety director Andrew Bennett told the Review-Journal.

Huh, no comment from the Mods. I guess the LVRJ is no longer verboten. Sorry for the misfire.

It’s on the must excerpt list.

“Can’t wait for 55mph again....

Always said anybody who supports 55 should have to drive across Kansas.

I’ve noticed more people blowing through red lights since Brandon usurped the presidency. It’s part of the overall increase in lawlessness that the rats encourage.

How would a 55mph Limit have fixed this?

I’d assume since it was an intersection, the limit was around 45 to begin with.

Simple problem. Motor Voter laws have made it so many people who should never be behind the wheel, are legally allowed to.

The car did not run the light. The driver did.

My heads on a swivel at every intersection I go through. But that maybe wouldn’t have helped in this situation with an idiot going that fast.

Ah, then the list has changed (not surprising). My list is from 2014, and stated:

Edited on 5/27/2014, 2:31:00 PM by Admin Moderator.
Note: Don't post anything at all from the Las Vegas Review Journal or anything from organizations run by Stevens Media, LLC or RightHaven, LLC until the lawsuit brought against us by them is resolved.
Apparently the lawsuit was resolved, and we can excerpt. Thanks for the update.

So now my question is, where's the updated list/thread?

If you happen to know, please post a link. Thanks!

When the Speed limit was 55 on the interstate in New Mexico, you had to go over 79 mph for the Highway patrol to give you a ticket (80+ was a $32 fine).

Buttgig is going to lower Brandon’s poll numbers to new depths.

Its like they are trying to fail.

“ Spend a couple of years beating down the police and refusing to prosecute the few they actually arrest, and the streets turn into the playground of maniacs. Everyone has seen the videos of the bums, everyone has seen the videos of the cartel types taking over intersections for their burnout sessions.

The government has created this.”
This is your typical day here in Albuquerque.

A Dodge Challenger is more like a bucket of bolts. I pass them every night with only one head light.

Maybe you keep passing the same one.

If you want to see Dodge Challengers at high speed then drive around Memphis on I-240 from midnight to 4 am. The police won't pull them over for speeding because of, you know, racism, so I-240 turns into a giant superspeedway at that time of night. I've had them pass me at what I'm sure was over 130 mph.

Just setting foot in Memphis is taking your life into your own hands but now that the cops won't stop the street races it adds a new dimension.

No. The muscle car cut off an SUV. The SUV got pissed and chased down the muscle car with his full auto Colt Python revolver and 50mm Glock on board.

Yep, that's the thread I referred to, but now I see that rather than start an updated fresh thread, the changes are just appended in the comments on this one -- I see that comments are still being added this month.

Okay, thanks -- I'll switch to using "page search" on publication names to see if they've changed status.
