This (suicide) seems to be happening far more frequently than 10 years ago. Maybe, the internet just picks the story up more quickly than what used to be the case.
Both sexes, people of all ages, sadly even children. It used to be extremely rare that you would hear of an elementary school child taking their own life. In the case of children, I would bet Social Media has much to do with amplifying their despair.
“...wrinkles and the occasional gray hair starting to appear.”
Well, it’s been my experience that it’s not just beauty queens that struggle with that. My ex-wife is a prime example. She was obsessed with holding back the effects of time. Spent thousands upon thousands of dollars attempting to maintain the appearance of a 30-40 yo woman.
Depression.
Days, after weeks, after months of despair. A complete lack of vigor. The stresses of every day life in 2022.
Never judge your insides with other people’s outsides, you never know what burdens people are carrying.
Defenestration
The GD auto correct did it again. I changed the last word of the first sentence to recreational three times and it still made it ‘restorative’. The algorithm is cooked to be subtly PC.
Thanks for picture. Really beautiful and looks charming too.
Wonder what in the world drove her to take that fatal dive.
You never know what a charming exterior is hiding.
Gorgeous hair too!
What an awful way to go.
What the hell?
Did they which floor?
Your post is in very poor taste. My guess is you’re really a liberal.
Another story said that she was last seen on a 29th floor terrace of her apartment building, and she jumped from there. I hope they are certain she jumped and are not overlooking possible foul play. No doubt they are investigating.
I know a lot of people are in despair since Neil Young took his songs off Spotify, but this seems really excessive. :-P
"Anabolic steroid users are more likely than nonusers to report anxiety. Moderate to high doses of anabolic steroids are also associated with major mood disorders such as mania, hypomania, and major depression".
Food for thought.
It is hard to understand. She had so many accomplishments, but you just never know what people are really feeling.
Abortion sends addiction, depression and suicides through the roof for women.
Ya'll need to stop judging peoples worth on their looks.
Society is obsessed with looks and appearance and she was riding that wave. What kind of person was she? Did people stop commenting as much on her beauty?
She was obviously depressed, where were her friends, family? She killed herself. Would it be news if she was fat and ugly? Would you care ?
She was a Division I athlete in college.
“While completing her undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina, Cheslie competed on the track and field team. She holds a spot in the school’s top 10 record book for the triple jump.”
