Come on, DUMBGRUNT, I know your googlefu is good enough to find electricity costs.

Try this one: https://www.eia.gov/electricity/state/

“Plug EVERYONE in at night, and start charging. Electricity is magic, till it isn’t.”

Night time perfect time to plug EV’s in when electrical use is lower and they will plug them in on the weekend to charge for work on Monday and the rest of the week.

Per US Energy Admin:

The least amount of electricity is consumed at night when most people sleep. ... U.S. electricity consumption is generally lower on weekends and holidays than it is during the weekdays because many commercial offices are closed and less electricity is required for lighting and computer equipment.Feb 21, 2020

“Show the link where I claim to support communism in any way.”

Typical liberal: Always backtracking when the spotlight shines on your own comments. ALL of your comments about economics are testimonies of your communism. All of them.

Will partially charging your battery every day of multiple times of day ruin the integrity of the battery like with the iphones?

—”I still not sure why someone hasn’t built a hybrid where the gas motor only powers the battery, and is not part of the drive train. “

You may want to take a hard look at a Prius.

My wife has a 2015 Prius V, and I love it!
Unsure of other Prius generations.

Basically, the ICE does not drive the wheels, but there is an override in the event of a battery failure there is one speed where the ICE can drive the wheels.

Here is my Guru, this is for interested gearheads:

Generation has little to do with the distribution lines.
What was the population 30 years ago?
It also matters where one lives.

“The Watermelons [Green on the outside, Red on the inside] are just starting on banning the natural gas electrical power generation plants. They’re well-satisfied with the destruction of the nuclear, coal and hydroelectric power plant”

You do know most coal plants have been extended and there are 177 new natural pas power plants being built.

When are you going to learn the fossil fuel co’s and large co’s control the energy system this country and not the politicians?

Biden signed in 900 more well permits on PUBLIC GROUNDS in the first year 2021 than Trump did in 2017. 3557 total Biden signed in verus 2657 for Trump

Wait I was told here this would not happen. Try reading from other sources besides right wing sources that only preach doom and gloom to gin up readers and money..and yes the left does the same thing.

Under Biden the Marcellus utica gas region has pumped a record amount of natural gas in 2021 The most in it’s entire history

AM I GIVING BIDEN CREDIT??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. IT is the large co’s that control this country not the politcians.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10453597/Climate-activists-hit-Biden-issuing-drilling-permits-public-land-Trump.html

Of course you will call me a commie/greenie liberal for pointing out the truth because it goes against your strict litmus idealogy.

—”Can they put enough charging stations at apartment buildings so everyone can as Texasgator put it “charge while you sleep’?”

All that is needed is a simple 110VAV receptacle for each car.

Is that a big deal?
Why?

They took two coal power plants generating 500 megawatts offline permanently in my area in the last 3 years...
