Tom Brady is retiring from football after 22 extraordinary seasons, multiple sources tell @JeffDarlington and me.

Big deal. I retired last year.
Good
That means Aaron Rogers won’t. Why accept 2nd billing at the same (5 year minimum)hall-of-fame ceremony?
Loved Brady, the epitime of a WINNER! Too slow, clumsy footed, so so arm, etc., etc. but an indomitable will to WIN!
In the other hand it’s good for the league. A lot of new young and very good young QB’s coming along. Combine it with the protection the refs give these pretty-boys and it will move them more in it’s woke direction. Now if they could only control the grab-assers like Watson. Big Ben is gone-too ugly.
Great player, no question. I give him loads of credit for playing at such a high level as old as he is in football years. Contrast his retirement to those stinky politicians simply do not have the fortitude to step down and walk away - Pelosi, Biden and others in their late 70s or 80s whole just cannot bring themselves to walk away and enjoy life ans family. I consider these people very odd.
Good job, Tom.
Say it’s not so Tom. I wanted one last championship. He was hindered by the Coach. Arians is an a-ho, and an underacheiver. I don’t know how he has such a positive rep with the sports announcers. He got his ring by the fluke of Brady in TB. Imagine what could have been if the O line could have held off the rush, they were ATROCIOUS.
I find it fitting that his final defeat came against the Rams.
Good move. He has enough money, and this way he gets to spend more time with the wife and kids, and doesn’t risk crippling injury.
I have never been a Brady fan. Or a Pats fan.
But in the last 2 years I’ve seen that Brady really is the GOAT of quarterbacks. As another post noted, not the greatest in details, but in results.
I truly think he is the most self-disciplined player in NFL, maybe ever. And that’s the key to his success. A key part of his winning attitude.
Have to admire and respect him.
Yeah OK Tom. Nice career. Who is the current 2nd team QB at Tampa Bay? Life goes on.
BLM = Brown's Life Matters.
:-P
One smack in the mouth, some bleeding, and voilà, TB retires. He’ll step away for a year, then attempt a comeback.
Well I can get behind Giselle on this decision
He will be replaced by a black woman
No he wont
Post of the Day. I know it’s not ALL about politics, but knowing when to leave the room is the sign of maturity.
Absolutely. It would be an historical first, and that’s what really matters.
I’m glad... he deserves to go out on top and wit solid knees.
His last comeback was AMAZING!
Shame Tampa’s Defense couldn’t join the party.
