He’s still in. But TX Republicans need to decide which to take down Gov. Abbott with. I think Col. West should be the candidate.
Indeed he was. He hit all the right notes in his interview.
I would vote for him in a heartbeat.
But I can’t....
I will not vote for Huffines. My vote is for Abbott. I was turned off Huffines by his billboards. I used to appreciate West but I feel like he was a carpet bagger, moving here, getting in and out of the chairman ship so quickly so he could run for governor. And he’s a neighbor!
Huffines may be great but he had awful plastic surgery.
He looks like a male Nancy Pelosi
Huffines is the only governor candidate actively campaigning in my county.
He’s been at it for months.
I have seen the same billboards as you. Why are you turned off by them?
He has been around making some speeches. Still early I guess.
Primary is March 1. The candidates are Abbott, Belew, Harrison, Horn, Huffines, Perry, Prather, and West. I am not thrilled with Abbott’s performance with ERCOT, the windmills and solar panels. Abbott governed throughout much of the demise of our coal fired and natural gas power generation. I really don’t have any great preferences yet either.

He claims to be leading in the polls. I see his events posted from El Paso to Beaumont....he has covered some ground.

Folks, Allen West is the better candidate, despite Huffines’s stances.
Abbott has demonstrated repeatedly his RINO roots. From the lockdowns to Constitutional carry opposition. He me-too’d DeSantis’ policy moves because he feared being outshone by the Florida governor.. He could have secured the border by now if he really wanted to.
Huffines is a true conservative, proven by his stances and his votes. He, West, or Prather, would be so much better for Texas, but Abbott has the swamp machine money behind him. Too many Texans are fooled by Abbott. I am not.
