Still working to keep the sham-demic going? Worried that the public is waking up and you have to pile on the fake statistics from that haphazard ‘worldometer’ site? Urging the public to believe the lies again, go back to sleep?

ransomnote: The text version of that commentary is below because it has links. After I posted it the first time, within a day or two Wiki completely rewrote it to protect Worldometer's trashy reputation.
Worldometer is known to have fast data, not necessarily accurate data, and they get their data wherever they can find it, so they do not have standards of accuracy.
"Edouard Mathieu, the data manager of Our World in Data, stated that "Their main focus seems to be having the latest number [of COVID-19 cases] wherever it comes from, whether it’s reliable or not, whether it’s well-sourced or not."[6]
Virginia Pitzer, a Yale University epidemiologist, said that the site is "legitimate", but flawed, inconsistent, and containing errors.[6]"

First Test Positivity peaked, then New Cases, and now Hospitalizations.
We (USA) are clearly past the peak of Omicron.
Some places in the NorthEast Corridor where Omicron exploded first, are already way down from their peak.
NYC’s highest day for new cases was 8 January, with 42K new cases. Yesterday (24 Jan) there were only 7K. The seven day average (which smooths out any reporting delays, like weekends) peaked in NYC on 10 January at 33.6K, yesterday it was down to 12.6K.
New Jersey is already down 2/3rds from their peak, and so is Maryland. Pennsylvania and Florida are already down half from their peaks.
Some places are still on the upswing, but it should not be much longer for them to peak as well. The Upper MidWest/North Central States is the last broad region Where Omicron surged, and the last big area to peak.
The typical Omicron wave drops to half in 10-14 days after the peak, and to about 1/10th of the peak in a month, in densely populated areas (Like London or Johannesburg) Very rural areas have a bit flatter and longer curves – just a few weeks more.
When you add up the USA as a whole, the highest single day was 10 January, with 1.3 million new cases. The 7 day average peaked on 15 Jan at 798K, and was down to 692K yesterday. Over the next week or two, the National total should hit the steep drop part of the curve, that NYC is already on. The last stragglers should see their local Omicron waves pass their peaks as well.
During March, it is expected to get down to a very low rate, with very low hospitalizations or death rates, that will likely remain pretty much permanently at low levels.
Already, people over 65 who have been vaccinated, or survived a prior case of COVID, have lower hospitalization or death rates from new COVID infections, than they do from Flu.
Between vaccination and infection, well over 95% of American adults already have some level of immunity to COVID. There will be extremely little room left for any potential future variant to do much damage. Once case numbers are much lower, so also will be the development of new variants.
Politicians in many Countries, including the USA, are preparing to declare victory and lift the restrictions. The UK did it last week. Their Omicron wave was about three weeks ahead of the USA. Travel restrictions by many countries have been lifting over the last couple of weeks.
Other parts of the world, including most of Asia, are a few weeks behind the USA on their Omicron waves, but we are only talking about a few more weeks.
No they don't. When the plandemic was kicked off, the corrupt medical establishment reclassified flu cases as Covid to pad the numbers and fan panic.

Now that they need to downplay their role, they're now shifting some of the flu cases back into the flu category for the vaccinated to make it look like the vaccines are less deadly/debilitating than they actually are. How else can they fake it like the shots work?
We had to open another unit at our hospital. It’s not as severe of a strain but the sheer numbers of cases means a certain number will be sick enough to require hospitalization.
Using your favored resource:
Germany, as of 25 January 2022
( 117,699 Worldometer-German Covid deaths / 83,783,942 Germans ) x 100 = 0.14%
versus the "Anthony Fauci response" in the US,
( 894,880 Worldometer-American Covid deaths / 331,002,651 Americans ) x 100 = 0.27%
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries
This "percentage dead from Covid by population" over twenty-five months proves that the Fauci-led response to the pandemic has been almost TWICE as bad as Germany, where we lived for decades before returning to the USA. Having been in both countries during this pandemic, our personal experience has been unremarkable. Covid isn't much of a thing, to some.
Thank you for proving with and through your trusted source for data -- Worldometer -- that the CDC, FDA and the Fauci and Collins leadership in this pandemic has been the WORST in the world.
I think I have Omicron right now, even though the at home test was negative.
A bit of a sore throat, some coughing and a little runny nose - same as my wife developed a couple of days prior, and who did test positive on a PCR test.
My symptoms started on Sunday, and I have been taking extra vitamin D, C and zinc; as well as quercetin, lactoferrin, Benadryl and melatonin at night. I have been drinking a liter of tonic water per day. No fever, pulse ox around 97.
Two Pfizer shots and a J&J.
I’ll go get tested again on Thursday morning.
If that's all it was, then you're fortunate. Some people get worse symptoms than that. Even though Omicron is a milder disease than other variants, it's not always a piece of cake. But if we'll all have to be exposed, we'll take this one.
I am vaccinated, with a booster last month, and no co-morbidities.
Several people I know have popped positive in recent days.
We are still at very high levels of transmission. Even though we are past the peak, we are still near the peak levels.
You have proven to be a liar over and over yet you continue to lie. Shameful
Not you. The poster. Thousands upon thousands of dollars this site pulls in every year yet can’t have a simple edit button.
I see Worldometer posts pushing the Plandemic lies and fear, and think of a flock of vultures circling over the heads of FReepers.
This is what happens when you treat a MEDICAL situation like a POLITICAL situation. Derpocrats are the worst kind political animals and will do ANYTHING for power and revenge against the Saxons who they HATE HATE HATE.
The derp people, including even some of our own women and children, have been turned against us and America by outside forces (Soviet Russia originally/China currently/and Derp State always). We are infiltrated, indoctrinated, and pit against one another.
The enemy is inside the gates.
And he is us.

"I think I got the covids. I just sneezed".
"I KNOW I had it last week. I blew my nose right in the Piggly Wiggly, and they all looked at me, so I ran away".
"I know a guy who knew a guy whose ex-girlfriend's cousin's barber got the covids and he died a horrible death. The man was UNVAXXED, can you believe it???
"OMG. When are the camps gonna be ready? The mudbloods will kill us all. Fauci says so."
"God bless Fauci. We speak his name".
Best of luck with the bug!
Your experience (and that of about half of “everybody”?*) would seem to indicate a new variant could infect half the population. NO vaccine is ever expected to cover a 3rd gen, 4th gen, etc. variant against infection, and the example of flu and colds would suggest to me that “natural” immunity might not be that much better, given a little time & new variants.
Back when the company I worked for a while flew me around every 30-50 days, esp. in cold / flu season I’d get the same dang cold (exact same symptoms) after each trip, 3 or 4 times in a row during cold / flu season. (Combination of that dang super dry air on the planes “prepping” my membranes, exposure, and getting run down - the schedules were always difficult.)
*I’d also point out that much of the world has not been hit hard by Omicron. In general, I would certainly not want to be a citizen under those regimes, but control / mitigation in many countries HAS worked to slow COVID. Even if cases are far under-reported (probably), we still have what, ~6 BILLION COVID infections to go? No significant variant has come from the USA, and the next probably won’t either.
So... Hopefully we’ll get a little respite. But by next fall, I think most bets are off. :-(
Well, hell. Even “Bones” McCoy didn’t have a cure for “colds” in the 23rd century.
Personally:
For several days I’ve been having very mild “come and go” “mobile” symptoms that started off with chest congestion. That would be consistent with something more like bird flu (prefers lung receptors) effectively (but not perfectly) whacked with my flu shot. Later I had sore throat, then more like a head cold (sinuses) & headache, then cough / dry throat feeling , then back to the lungs and a repeat sequence. O2 ok, never any real sensation of trouble breathing, no fever, no loss of taste, rather strong fatigue at some points, but, that could be any high viral load disease. A couple different days along the sequence I seemed to have no symptoms at all, except one was the worst “fatigue” day. Weird!
Felt generally ok but “fatigue” again yesterday. But I was pretty bummed hearing about Meatloaf passing. That likely didn’t help. Another good guy gone...
COVID is pretty strong here but so are plenty of other things - even significant flu cases, say some local docs. I guess I’ll go ahead and order some of the gov. antigen tests, but, they ARE prone to false negatives, and likely more so in temperature extremes. 12 deg. F here tonight, out in a carrier truck? Hmmm...
Wifey MAY have been exposed at work late last week- one of her kids (2nd grade, private school) is home mildly ill w/ COVID. Rest of class so far no signs / no positive tests - there was an intervening weekend B4 the positive test so possibly the kid did not spread @ school.
I think there is another component to this mess, as some extended family are now darn near agoraphobic — fear of getting out and about.
Before we moved from Germany back to the US, I had tested negative -- the one test I was obligated to have, with the Rote Kreuz (Red Cross) giving me the proper proof. My neighbors all were unworried except one, a skittish gal. She NEVER accepted the official report and darn near ran when she saw me on the street. I think the constant fear porn has truly harmed others psychologically.
As I read the various "official" data collection sources which everyone loves to cite in their agonies, so many anomalies in the "official" numbers leap out as to prove the data bogus. Still the beat goes on.
The Christmas season just past, I'd observe that a message of faith and "fear not" has been solidly replaced with the message of "trust the state" and "FEAR!"
All the "narrative" is cognitive dissonance now, as the Fauci cabal (CDC/FDA/HHS) has succeeded in 1) showing itself the worst in the world in this mess, and 2) being lauded in a corrupt press as if the US is doing the best in the world.
And of course worldometer is to be trusted....After all, as of today, 26 January, Commie China STILL is reported by worldometer to have only 4,636 Covid deaths. So we know we can trust the data./s
Regards.
Have you seen this video?
It likely spells out very clearly why the UK is dropping all the vax requirements.
