Tech Pingy!.............
I got one on clearance from Costco for 150.00 brand new. Im using it right now. Seems to work fine. I disable the tracking stuff. Not bad for the money.
I got a very low-end HP Chromebook as a "gift" for listening to a 30-minute sales spiel on Google Cloud a few years ago. It's a useful ultra-portable, halfway between my MacBook (a real computer) and my iPad (tablet).
*ShadowAce* Not mentioned in the article is that you can download and run a Linux OS environment on a Chromebook, in a VM/container. It's a Debian (Ubuntu-ish) distro and really quite good. Having that running Bash sessions on the same desktop as the other ChromeOS applications is pretty cool.
I don't use ChromeOS much, but it's handy for the things I use it for.
Is there a tech list?
