Tom Brady Admits ‘Very Difficult Issue’ With His Wife, Gisele

Amid growing talk of Tom Brady retiring, it’s important to look back on what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback said about his marriage with Gisele Bundchen.

Back in the fall, Brady admitted that retirement was a “very difficult issue” in his marriage to the supermodel.

Naturally, Gisele would prefer for Brady to retire so he could spend more time with friends and family members.

“But that’s an issue, and it’s a very difficult issue to reconcile without just saying, ‘Hey, it’s time to retire.’ And I think there’s, you know, we’re coming to the end here too, so I don’t want to miss any of the kids’ stuff,” Brady told his co-hosts, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray.

“I think my wife has, you know, held down the house for a long time now, and I think there’s things that she wants to accomplish. You know, she hasn’t worked as much in the last 10, 12 years just raising our family and kind of committing to being in a life in Boston and then moving to Florida.”

Brady, 44, is reportedly non-committal on the 2022 season and beyond.

Not reading through all this to see if anyone else made this observation...

“Back in the fall, Brady admitted that retirement was a “very difficult issue” in his marriage to the supermodel.”

That could mean something totally different than what the writer assumes. It could mean that she doesn’t want him home all the time.

Really...what more has he to prove? Enjoy your family while you still can.....

Exactly right. Enjoy the children while they're still relatively young, he won't regret it one bit.

What I meant to say was, Gisele probably has a lot of power over Tom and Tom probably wants to continue but Gisele won’t be happy if he does. This is just my personal opinion and I don’t know if it is true. In the future I will be more careful with my posts. I have had enough of verbal abuse. I did not appreciate being spoken to in that way. If you have any decency or respect for other people, you will be more careful with your posts in the future.

Was at the game. He’s still got the drive and another season in him. Can still throw the deep ball.

He just loves to compete.

Nothing wrong with that.

Gisele has wanted Tom to retire from football for several years going back to when he was on the Patriots.

The fact is all football players are literally one hit away from being a cripple or vegetable. The CRT lowers your life expectancy. I think he was so pissed at Belicheck that he pushed himself to prove he could win without him. He did it.
Now, retire before you can’t walk or think.

Tom’s TB12 program will still continue to make him money. He can model. He would be hired by CBS/FOX/NBC/ESPN tomorrow.

I remember a meme once with a picture of JLO, it went something to the effect of no mater how beautiful a woman is, somewhere a man is thinking how do I get away from this bitch.

They seem to have a good relationship and she is very protective of Brady. But what happens when he is home and not training anymore? Loses his hair, gets a bit chubby and starts to look more like Terry Bradshaw every day?😂

You've been here for 8 minutes.

If it bothers you that bad, leave.

The only troll is you. I was simply stating my opinion and someone chose to insult. I think we all need to think before we post. I am sorry if I upset anyone.

I love this site, but one of the problems is we can be so intolerant of different opinions. We all have the right to express our opinions, and at the same time, we need to remember that our opinions aren’t the only ones out there. One opinion is not better than the rest.

I agree, Brady is no different than Montana or Farve. They move to another team have a great season and then the wheels start to come off as age begins to tell.

In Brady's case he did them one better by winning the Super Bowl with a different team. Farve and Montana only made it to the Championship games. Brady will be a first Ballot Hall of Famer and will be forever loved by Patriots fans. But, if history holds true it will be all down hill from here. So yes, he should retire, enjoy his family and find something else he enjoys doing. Only God knows if and when all those years of getting hit will catch up with him.

As for the GOAT, based on Super Bowl alone wins maybe. Before there was a Super Bowl there were great QBs. Back before rules protected QBs like they do now and when QBs called their own offensive plays their were greta QBs. For me Bart Starr was the GOAT, but to each his own.

You’re absolutely right. It’s just entertainment, nothing more or less. Why does the media even report on this? I could care less whether Brady stays or quits, much less his relationship with Gisele.
