Earlier this week, Tom Brady lamented the lack of roughing the passer calls he gets but admitted he also gets away with plenty of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.
On Sunday, he got a double whammy — and only had a busted lip to show for it.
Brady was flagged for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty midway through the second quarter after barking at referee Shawn Hochuli for not calling a roughing the passer penalty on Von Miller in the Buccaneers-Rams NFC divisional round game.

Meanwhile, Mahomes advanced after a 13 second miracle drive

I can’t stand Brady but I have to give him grudging respect. He almost pulled that team all the way back and only gutsy play calling by the Rams in the last drive saved them. I believe they would have been toast in overtime.
There is no question that Tom Brady is the greatest QB (greatest player?) in NFL history.
Poor Tom, nothing ever goes his way, and he never gets any respect.
Worst call I’ve ever seen. It almost felt like the game was fixed with that call and the taunting call before the Tampa nose tackle.
Lousy call on Brady, but he was a shell of himself. Antino Brown would have helped but unfortunitely he’s bat s*it crazy.
Rams got lucky. The young Brady would have capitalized on the turnovers.
Antonio Brown tweeted a pic of his shirtless antic with him holding a placquard saying Bucs eliminated.
One of the amazing things this weekend was Joe Burrow getting sacked 9 times and still winning the game.
And as for the Bills, Tony Romo called it right. https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2022/01/24/jim-nantz-tony-romo-bills-chiefs-kickoff-squib-kick
Brady did pretty well with a crappy line and hurt team. No doubt he’s the GOAT. Mahomes, also quite impressive. I was rooting for Rodgers but his team is not that great. The Rams quarterback is also impressive.
Did all the Black quarterbacks ( sans Mahomes) lose in the qualifying rounds, didn’t see that mentioned on ESPN.
It’s better to be lucky than good.
Yes, Brady had a horrible first half. But thanks to several Rams miscues, he brought the Bucs all the way back to tie only to see it taken away in the last minute. Great game.
Has an NFL head coach ever been ejected from the sidelines? Baseball managers and basketball coaches are ejected with some regularity.
Just wondering.
Rodgers team had the worst ranked Special Teams group. That team lost it for G/B.
Ah the Bills.... couldn’t tackle Hill on that one long TD. Made the wrong decision on the kickoff. And then somehow, inexplicably, allowed the Chiefs to get into FG position with only 13 seconds on the clock?! Ugh.....
Maybe Brady should have pointed to shoe polish on his lip but of course that would not have helped since the ref cleverly defended his call as one of judgment, one of degree. No amount of blood on the lip can overcome that.
The Bills were playing defense to prevent a touchdown with 13 seconds left instead of realizing the Chiefs best chance to stay in the game was to get into field goal range.
Larry Brown

Cowboys had 14 seconds, ran QB draw, couldn’t get off a spike on the next play, time expired.
Chiefs had 13 seconds, moved 44 yards, kicked tying field goal as time expired.
Granted. But... Rodgers and the O only put up ten points. A great methodical textbook opening drive for a TD and then only three more points after that?! Inexcusable....
The Bucs don’t sniff the playoffs without Brady.
Chiefs had all their timeouts.
I was driving home last night from a family function listening to the game. The last two minutes was like listening to a video game and I thought after the last Bills go-ahead TD it was surely over. But .... nooooo......
