I’d rather drink Moxie, too. Love the stuff
And nobody steals my drinks in the fridge.
A fine beverage!
Moxie salute!
My only local grocery store (not counting Walmart) is also a Safeway. It’s very well-run and the organic produce is pretty good too, if a tad pricey. But for some products — apples, celery, leafy greens and such — the added expense is well worth it. I’ve begun growing my own greens, which is a huge help.
Tried it once. Once was enough.

We prefer Dr Pepper. It “aids digestion and restores vim, vigor, and vitality “
Never could bring myself to try it.
Dr. Brown’s Black Cherry, on the other hand...back when I still drank soda, that stuff was worth the search.
Thank you for the information. Bertie has only eaten onions once and I was surprised he actually consumed them. He still says no to celery.
In SHOPRITE today , was told cant get potato chips
Only ones available are Bar-b-que or sour cream .......
Here in NM we’ve been living in a frito desert for months.
sour cream please
I worked for a soda bottler years ago in Omaha that was owned by a very nice Jewish family. They kept it on hand in cans for older friends. Every once in a while, we’d open a can if a new person started. Just tasted like carbonated celery juice.
I bought so much from AMZ during lockdown, they gave me free Prime. Free and really fast deliveries on even the smallest order. Don’t recall ordering any food item though. I can walk to two supers, also Trader Joe and Natural Grocer.
My dad, in the restaurant biz, taught me how to cook: “Buy the best food you can afford and do as little to it as possible.”
Steamed veggies are yum. And retain nutrients. Toss a little Soyaki from Trader on top and they’re really good.
I’m 85, have ZERO health problems except an eye that needs a new corneal transplant. I needed the first because a stupid doc did cataract surgery wrong. And then, a stupid doc told me to use some ointment on my first transplant that totally wrecked it. Not a huge fan of the medical profession.
Not a huge fan of the medical profession.
Nor am I
I get fresh-grown from my daughter’s garden about twice a year. She’s really a domestic goddess.r. We do have street fairs in the summer, source of great homegrown produce. Only place in town I can get turnip greens. Maybe I should get one of those big big pots and plant some turnips. You never know.
I love the stuff, have very fond childhood memories of it, and for those who don't like it, here's a hint...it's best when served VERY cold and if possible, with ice cubs in it.
why not? people drink tomato juice, carrot juice, prune juice...
and with a pastrami on rye..
Funny you should mention DCF Pepsi.
PepsiCo produces CelRay under contract for Dr. Brown’s. Dr. Brown’s knows exactly where the hold up is. Anything from a shortage of cans to a shortage of labor at PepsiCo to selling available supplies to highest bidders rather than to long-time customers, but they know.
