It’s MAJOR AWARD!
I figured they would cancel the old version, so I bought it on DVD just after the New Year. Not sure how this one will turn out.
No confidence, but I hope it’s better than say, the Gilligan’s Island reunion.
Will he or his brother be gay, or a tranny?? And will he have saved his pink rabbit jammies that his aunt made for him?
They could probably get Bill Barr to play grown-up Ralphie at a cheaper rate than Billingsley.
NOTAFINGA!
Wasn’t there already a sequel to the movie?
39, this year, to be exact. It’s my favorite Christmas Film. I have a full sized “Major Award” up year round in my big window.
Bob Clark would direct it, but he was killed in a traffic accident by an illegal.
And Vince is conservative.
Here is a funny Vince deal:

its not my favorite Christmas movie but it did represent middle class America...
those monstrous snow suits....the furniture and the kitchen...the Santa parade...
That’s the spirit!
Buncha curmudgeons here! Pay no attn to them. :)
Maybe for the new one they can include a Krampus parade?
Um.....this could be good. Or it could be bad. And I hate to tinker with a classic. They tend to be bad.
I don’t think so, but Billingsley played the elf toy room manager, Ming-Ming, in the movie “Elf.” (The “cotton-headed ninny muggins” scene.)
They won’t allow adult Ralphie to use his
Red Rider gun—you’ll shoot your eye out, man!
There was a sequel made called My Summer
Story. It was ok not huge.
Been to the A Christmas Story house in Cleveland.
Jean Shepherd (author)died in 99.
Yes My Summer Story
“Maybe we can cast Alec Baldwin as
Scut Farkus and—hello? Hello? Geez, the guy hung up on me”
