Pete Davidson checks out the Staten Island Ferry he bought: ‘It’s Sick’

The King of Staten Island visited his castle.

Pete Davidson was seen at the St. George Ferry Terminal on Friday, admiring the decommissioned Staten Island Ferry he and “SNL” co-star Colin Jost bought this week at auction.

Video obtained exclusively by The Post shows the Staten Island native beaming through sunglasses at the new purchase from a pier jutting out into New York Bay. “It’s crazy,” Davidson said. “We used to take that ferry to do stand-up, all the time.”

I have to admit, I am pessimistic about these types of endeavors, but...one never knows.

I once knew a guy who was involved with the purchase of a ferry from NYC, and he did the evaluation. He said the deterioration and damage from the elements was so severe and extensive, that it was apparent this vessel could not have passed a valid marine inspection in years, and was simply being kept afloat by bribes and corruption.

I didn’t doubt it for a second. IIRC, they didn’t buy the vessel...:)

LOL, see my post above, I don't doubt it was! With paying customers, too!

From the article: "...According to the Department of Transportation, the ship was taken out of service last August after two of its motors failed. The ship can’t travel under its own power..."

I don't know these people who bought it, and I do feel a kind of pity with a smile, knowing how joyous and excited they must feel, and that must be fun.

Like newlyweds, and then a year later, there is tape down the middle of the house, the dog is dead, and one of the cars is cut in half with a chain saw.

I think it’s cool. I’m not sure it’s sensible in any way, but it’s cool. (Reminds me of the show, “Mysteries of the Abandoned”, which I loved.)

Smart buy if you invest on Al Gore’s research.

Manhattanites should have all been boat people by now.

A boat is a hole in the water, surrounded on four sides by wood, into which you pour money.

Is that the same one that the Ricardos and the Mertzes were on?

There was a guy in the 80’s that converted one of these ferry’s to a mansion residence. Had to be towed by a tugboat. Was in Annapolis, md for a while when I was in the boat business. Went to a reception on it.10 bedrooms or movie theater, huge dining room fo 30 or forty. Gaudy, but impressive. It was named Sardinia. Tried to find some pictures but couldn’t.

Well, it’s up in the mornin’ tryin’ to find a job of work
Stand in one place till your feet begin to hurt
If you got a lot o’ money you can make yourself merry
If you only got a nickel, it’s the Staten Island Ferry
And it’s hard times in the city
Livin’ down in New York town

Jost and Davidson don’t seem to be on the same wavelength.

Could he charge people to take them out into international waters and do things illegal here in civilization?

Like what exactly they are already in New York?

Pete Davidson’s NYFD dad died on 911. He committed suicide to get away from his communist piece of **** son.

They want to turn it into a comedy club and bar. I kind of like the idea of a drive in floating brothel.
