Conservatives on social media are blasting apparel manufacturer Carhartt and calling for a boycott of the company after it announced it would continue to mandate the coronavirus vaccine for employees even after President Biden’s mandate was blocked by the Supreme Court.

Carhartt, a popular brand with conservatives and outdoor enthusiasts, announced this week they will continue to mandate coronavirus vaccines for employees saying, "We put workplace safety at the very top of our priority list and the Supreme Court’s recent ruling doesn’t impact that core value."

Conservatives on social media immediately began calling for a boycott of the company in response to the announcement.

“...a business can make their own rules,,,”

We’re getting close to a master slave relationship there where a company thinks they can control your body.

Here is the link to their website contact page.
I just left them a message stating I would never buy anything from them again unless they changed their vaccine policy.

It took 5 minutes

Me too.

I have lots of Carhartt stuff in my house. The hoodie I bought my daughter will be my last purchase.

Will Bass Pro Shops go the way of NASCAR? Seems wokeness is killing off the once conservative businesses in our country.

Businesses have NO right to mandate any health issues. PERIOD!

....Is there any substitute for Carharrt? It sort of occupies a unique niche in the 21st Century...

I used to wear Carhartt solid color shirts exclusively, but have found that Wrangler Riggs is actually a little bit better for me.

Unless Carhartt walks this back, the next time I need pants, I am going to try Wrangler.

“I don’t believe in government mandates, but a business can make their own rules, even dumb rules. You never know the backstory either. Their company health insurance plan might be the power behind it, even if it’s only a financial incentive on rates.”

They are certainly free to make their own rules. And I am equally free to no longer support their company and encourage others to not buy their products. Choices are not without consequence. Their corporate leaders may cower behind their insurance company but again, that is their choice and it has it’s own consequences. There are plenty of other options in the market. I would buy chinese crap before I support a company that forces their employees to inject substances into their bodies that they do not want.

Makes me wonder how these CEOs can be so stupid. Carhartt must have government contracts. I know they do have contracts with airlines.

Good. Customers should absolutely let these businesses know that if they keep doing this crap, they will pay on the bottom-line.

I just got word the other day that Wegmans is starting to collect "jab" data on its employees. At the moment, it's voluntary, but we know how that goes.

If you have a moment, visit Carhartt and Wegmans on Yelp or F-Book or someplace else and let them know that if they mandate this garbage on their employees, you will take your shopping elsewhere.

You really have to wonder how these corporate CEOs achieved success acting like flaming morons.

These idiots are being convinced by their HR departments to support woke, "world citizen" and leftist causes because these departments consist of "college graduates" whom have degrees in "women's and gender studies" or "black history" or are just plain communists.

Thanks. I gave them the business! I know lots of people that work outdoors that aren’t covidiots. I let them know about this as well.

A complete lack of awareness of who your customers are. I will never buy their overpriced crap again. I have some Duluth Trading flannel wear and it’s more durable anyway.
