Actually, after many years on Free Republic, I think there are many posts, such as this one that you label as
“worthless vanity” that are posted in order to start a conversation or maybe a debate.
In my opinion there are no “worthless vanity” posts or debate, I find them healthy and sometimes educational.
I do understand, in a broad manner, how your country works. However, detailed mechanics of your political system is not always apparent.
