I miss Sam. He was side-splitting funny.
I really miss him.
Old Yeller is a good name for this sad unfunny person.
Too bad he died.
Wish he was around to crush the wokers.
That was hilarious!
My favorite Kinison bit:
“I’d get to the Gates of Hell and Satan would jump out: “Ahhhhhhhhhh.....oh s___, you were married. Well there’s nothing new for you here, I’ll give you the nickel tour anyway....See that? That’s where we torment the soul...Ooooooh.........Say, you didn’t happen to see any single guys coming this way, I can scare the s___ out of them.......What’s that? You were married twice? Want a job? That entitles you to the Job Placement Program here in Hell!”
Are You Lonesome Tonight?--Henry Burr (1927)
Thanks, forgot how funny he was.
Read a story about his last words and was kinda spooky
Sam Kinison and Rodney Dangerfield together in my favorite clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9DO26O6dIg
I just watched this a couple of weeks ago!
Sam Kinison remains the best Comedian in my lifetime....even though he died in 1991.
I have watched the Carson/Kinison clip three times now, laughing over and over again. Now I cant get that song out of my head!
How strange to find this on here because I looked it up just tonight on youtube. His rendition of Are you lonesome tonight I find so utterly beautiful, it has real feeling in it. I think he must’ve been a pretty nice guy,, really and that is why he kept trying to be married.
He was taken away too soon. But his story of talking to someone has always intrigued me. Who was that he was speaking to? How hopeful it makes the picture of something follows after this life.
I hope he is somewhere good.
