Sam Kinison Sings "Are You Lonesome Tonight"
Yeah.
I always hope his days as a preacher helped him at the end.
I hope he’s up there.
Read a story about his last words and was kinda spooky
“Old Yeller is a good name for this sad unfunny person.”
Agreed. I never found him funny. Sad that he died in an unfortunate accident though.
Sam Kinison and Rodney Dangerfield together in my favorite clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9DO26O6dIg
I just watched this a couple of weeks ago!
Sam Kinison remains the best Comedian in my lifetime....even though he died in 1991.
I passed over that stretch of road where he died just 3 weeks later. :-(
:(
I really detest drunk drivers.
One selfish, irresponsible punk took him from us.
I have watched the Carson/Kinison clip three times now, laughing over and over again. Now I cant get that song out of my head!
How strange to find this on here because I looked it up just tonight on youtube. His rendition of Are you lonesome tonight I find so utterly beautiful, it has real feeling in it. I think he must’ve been a pretty nice guy,, really and that is why he kept trying to be married.
He was taken away too soon. But his story of talking to someone has always intrigued me. Who was that he was speaking to? How hopeful it makes the picture of something follows after this life.
I hope he is somewhere good.
