New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says forcing people back to work after a five-day COVID-19 quarantine is 'sociopathic' and made the false claim that Omicron is not mild despite science supporting otherwise, as she says she is now recovered from the virus.

The Democrat gave an update on Saturday, after it was revealed on Monday, January 10, that she had tested positive for coronavirus.

She shared three photos, one showing two positive test results, one of her cuddling up with her dog and a solo shot of her French bulldog Deco.

Half the country is staying home right now because they tested positive for the sniffles. The country doesn’t suffer when AOC stays home (and doesn’t miss a paycheck) but it certainly does when truck drivers and grocery store workers are stuck at home for a week.
