I’ll take Edward G Robinson for 1000 Alex.
That looks like a great list in the YouTube link. Thank you. I just watched The Stranger with Edward G Robinson and Orson Welles a few hours ago. Film noirs are priceless entertainment. Thumbs up!

I’m in. You might as well start off with the best, The Asphalt Jungle.

The best film noir BY FAR is
Born To Kill with Claire Trevor!
She is good in anything, but this is her best in my opinion.

Detour has the most evil screen villainess ever. Very good film noir.
I read the Moonstone. The movie is too short for the story, but the bookwas good.

“Movies” channel on cable has been doing Sunday Night Noir for a while.
If you get a chance, watch “Murder by Contract”.
Very influential on Scorsese & Tarantino (the quirky contract killer, the shopping for a murder weapon vignette, etc.)
Also has music you may have heard elsewhere (hint: old TV show with a famous bank and millionaires)

Big thumb up!! Problem is so many of the good movies are no longer in any streaming library. I have to either get them from the library, buy them used on eBay, or sometimes buy them new on Amazon. I just bought the Blu Ray of the Russian anti-war film Come and See. The DVD from our local library was a really crappy copy with dark gray blurry subtitles that could not be read.
