Very astute — thank you for the opinion and education.
Current death counts are not 1/6th January 2021 levels.
I’ll just stop there.
The numbers in the south haven’t peaked yet. It hasn’t been real cold yet, but soon it will crest. Western numbers will continue rising, simply because of social distancing via land area. Not too much longer overall.
Worldometers: South Africa, January 19, 2021: 844 deaths.
January 14, 2022: 128 deaths.
844/128 = 6.56. 128 is a little less than 1/6 of 844.
I thought you were talking US. My bad.
I specifically mentioned South Africa.
Looks like it had hit the peak in the Carolinas the past couple of days. It won't be long for the rest of the South to crest like you said especially with the winter storm coming up.
You did, after the numbers. I likely scrolled after seeing the numbers.
My SA examination focuses only on pre Omicron, immediately pre Omicron, and NOW, with Omicron dominant. Increase in dead, similar weather.
Small heads up. If death counts are indeed about to disappear, we will have to resort to the gold standard of Excess Deaths.
But if indeed covid death counts are about to disappear, I would not expect EDs to survive very much longer.
Hard to believe all of this would survive press conferences.
I was obviously quoting South African numbers. Anyone paying even the most casual attention knows US numbers are near a million cases per day, not 37K, no less 5.2K.
Your excuses are not credible. You are a fearmongering propagandist.
This stuff has already been shot down
:::::::::::::::::::::::::
Bull crap it has.
Uttar Pradesh stood out even in India. They still only have had 23,000 deaths from covid with a population over 200 million. Explain that Einstein.
It’s sick and twisted how blacked out the story has been and it’s also sick what’s happened with the same story in Japan and and Peru. The success stories of ivermectin are blacked out. It’s pure outright evil going on and really bleak that there’s so many co-conspirators right here on Free Republic, diminishing the value of ivermectin and pushing things like the vaccine and monoclonal antibodies that were developed using aborted babies and were designed to put billions of dollars in big pharma’s pockets.
Every area has its own mix of variables - population density, How widespread immunity is from prior waves or vaccination, and when the local Omicron wave really got going into its local BOOM! phase.
On average, it seems to BOOM! like a rocket ship up the graph for about three weeks, before cracking.
Pay no attention to the agitator — he is looking for attention.
TN and AL often don't report. Nothing new at all.
What would be new is you pointing out that when these states do report, they are actually reporting totals that include the days that they didn't report.
Down from 140 the previous Friday.
Obviously they are just starting Omicron.
I generally don’t mention a state not reporting if it also did not report same day previous week. TN and AL both did.
On the days that they do report, they also add the deaths for the dates that they didn't report. This creates false peaks.
There are false peaks and false dips.
You only point out the false dips.
I suppose if they don’t report, that will be a dip. So we should expect big numbers from them tomorrow?
No reason to think that they won't tack those deaths on to tomorrow's totals.
