Meat is hypoallergenic.
A similar thing happened to me, but I got super powers.
Because it's not beef/pork/chicken.
It's People.
Think Soylent Green... why McD's are closing all over the USA.
Lamb is one of the least allergy-causing foods there is.
Suspect this lady is suffering under the wrong diagnosis.
Fake meat.
Horrible! Being forced to eat that crap from McDonald’s. Maybe his next life will be better.
Free Republic doesn’t seem like the best site to post this.
Maybe Tick Talk?
I got this about 15 years ago after cleaning up the mo-in-law's property and getting bit by multiple ticks. Don't have it super bad and the worst reaction was to a ham made from a home raised heritage pig. Passed out twice with anaphylaxis. I go easy on the mammalian meats now. Got meat goats as they're super lean and it's a type of fat that does it. Recent strong reaction was to some sausage, bun sized. Thought it was odd and then looked at the package. Made from heritage pork.
Tick talk. Nice. Well done.
I never knew such an allergy existed. Has the young lady considered eating wild game?
Why? Because you’re a lying snowflake and full of liberal bile and bullsh!t.
Everything that comes out of the mind of a liberal snowflake like you is .01% hot air and 99.9% bullsh!t.
Nobody except your stupid cat gives a sh!t about you or your opinions, and your catb only pretends to care because you feed it and clean the litterbox. Otherwise, your cat doesn’t care either and probably wishes you were dead.
That’s why.
FYI...My response is directed at the author of the article. Not you.
I saw some freepers talking about tick bites causing a meat allergy recently. When I saw this I figured why not post it.
“Suspect this lady is suffering under the wrong diagnosis.”
No, it’s called alpha gal. Common side effects of Lyme and coinfections. Effectively treated by ivermectin.
Sorry. Got the user name wrong.

I didn’t read the article, but why did she ever risk eating a McDs cheeseburger in the first place if she knew she had the severe allergy? Did she eat it by accident?
I think Casper the golfer had that same condition, ate buffalo meat.
I have heard of this in fact in researching - there’s a woman in a business next door to a restaurant (same physical structure) who had an adverse reaction just from the air coming in from next door. Pretty serious
