KFC’s New Fake Chicken Nuggets are Really Gross
New York Post ^ | January 14, 2022 | Steve Cuozzo

KFC is the latest fast-food giant to claim that “plant-based” chicken can taste as good as the real thing — but the chain picked the wrong faux fowl to make its case.

The chain’s supposedly long-awaited Beyond Nuggets (six for $7.99) are beyond awful — worse than KFC’s near-flavorless real-meat chicken tenders.

The fake chicken from within KFC’s new offerings come from Beyond Meat, a rival to Impossible Foods, which created the famous Impossible Burger. The idea behind offering artificial chicken at KFC is to “democratize plant-based protein,” according to Beyond Meat founder Ethan Brown.

Look up Amazing Polly and her take on this fake meat product and you will faint. Polly is kind of Alex Jones/ish, and really nice to listen to. Smart. I have given myself a times out regarding all the horrid stuff going on, but Polly is somebody on the web I can say is okay to give a try if you are still searching for a truthful take on what the heck is going on.

Ever wonder why processors try to make vegetables taste like meat?

Any meat processors trying to make steak taste like vegetables or tofu?

Hire woke executives, soon the brand and the company will be ruined. Who in their right mind would spend good money to eat a chemical concoction called chicken or trust KFC food again?

Barf alert required.
Peas are fine but I don’t eat wheat or gluten, so there you have it.

If you want a veggie dinner, which I do occasionally, just buy tofu. Or Tempeh, a soy product with far more protein.

Hannibal approves of at least that.

I haven’t eaten Kentucky Fried Grease anything since the mid 80’s. Every liberal parent I know feeds their children solely chicken nuggets and mac and cheese which should be a crime against humanity

Funny. However I really like broccoli. Just steam in and put a little lemon butter on it. Yum.

They (McD’s) say it’s all breast meat but who knows. It’s not ALL breast meat....not even half of the whole thing.

Mechanically press-formed meat of whatever origin is still that.

I’m known for my chicken. Buy pasture-raised chicken thighs, put it soup or bake in oven. Brought baked chicken to big picnic in our ‘hood and everyone loved it. Coat with olive oil, sprinkle with Montreal Chicken seasoning, don’t overcook.

What’s not to like?

I accidentally bought a bag of fake tuna. They called it Tuno. The grocer had placed it right next to the other bags I like to buy to keep in my desk for snacks and lunch. It was horrific.

health seemed to be optional in general at the eat-in KFC at 408 Eighth Ave., where they didn’t ask for vaccination proof on either of my two visits.

Really? If your vax is so great, why do you care? God Lord, this clown is "beyond" stupid.
