The federal contractor order has been enjoined: https://www.natlawreview.com/article/vaccine-mandate-federal-contractors-enjoined-nationwide. Tell your HR to GTH. I work for very woke, progressive company that takes federal contracts. They had a vaccine mandate but suspended it the minute it was enjoined. There is no federal contract vaccine mandate right now.

Exactly

OSHA is government. SCOTUS declared GOVERNMENT can’t issue such mandates on corps. Any other government attempt is equally unconstitutional.

Once again, one group has constitutional rights and all the rest don’t

SCOTUS hasn't ruled that Congress can't mandate vaccines. They've ruled that the Executive can't issue a mandate without clear authorization from Congress.

In 1905 SCOTUS ruled that a state could impose a vaccine mandate and that religious objections are not a defense against such a mandate.

I don't think Congress's ability to mandate vaccines has been challenged. Only the Executive's ability.

If that mandate gets past Governor DeSantis then I am out of a job.

You are exactly right, it is a power of Congress to mandate not the executive. The states via the tenth amendment and fully codified in Jacobson vs Mass have the power within their respective borders to mandate vaccinations which they already do for public schools or universities for example. Given that the Senate can’t get the filibuster thrown out Congress is in grid lock at the moment so don’t expect the US Congress to do.anything. I fully expect some blue states to mandate and they have the plenary power to do such. The USSC will not hear another case in the matter bank on that from the states right no standing will be granted.

Actually, the contractors have been exempted already by other court rulings.

If the Fed Contractor Corporations aren’t health related, then there should be no problem.

And that is the reply I expect back from my company too. They could fight it, but they are scared of their shadows, scared of making waves and ripples.

Good call on GE, confirmed here. And they without a doubt have federal contracts, so it will be interesting to see if they somehow obtained an exception, or are just calling their bluff, etc.
