“Xlear has filed a Pre-Emergency Use Authorization (Pre-EUA) Request with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) seeking approval to make claims that the nasal spray is approved for use in preventing SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) transmission and infection (BusinessWire). The Pre-EUA is a first step in seeking formal authorization of Xlear Nasal Spray as tool to help in combatting COVID-19.

Xlear previously filed a pre-EUA seeking approval for use of the nasal spray as a medical device in combatting COVID-19. However, because the FDA determined that Xlear “works against the virus,” the FDA told Xlear it would need to be considered as a drug or combination product EUA.

“Seeing that the FDA says Xlear works against the virus, we have decided to seek EUA approval as a drug,” said Nathan Jones, Xlear’s CEO.”

I’ve been using a Navage for several years. Used a Neti pot for many years prior to buying the Navage.

Neti pot costs a lot less to use and doesn’t require any proprietary supplies, but the Navage does a much better job of cleaning out my snot locker.

Does it claim to KILL Covid?

No, not that I'm aware of.

Looked up Xlear and found this:

10% Povidone iodine is cheap and plentiful. Mix 1 oz with 9 oz of sterile normal saline to get a 1% solution. You can purchase nasal squirt bottles to instill the solution to sanitize the sinuses. I do have XLear from Amazon and some nasal saline from Costco. A twice daily cleaning of sinuses and antiseptic mouthwash are good hygienic approaches to keep the virus at bay.

I should add: always use boiled water or distilled water in your neti pot. Never use plain tap water.

Sterile saline. Boiling is one way to get there. Tap water can be infected with brain eating amoeba. A bit counter productive. The solution should the "normal saline" i.e. isotonic to avoid damaging the nasal tissues.

We’ve been using Xlear for over a year now and so far have been able to avoid the virus. Use it before and after being with other people at church, out eating etc. I’m a believer.

II had covid last year. When I tested positive I was asked if I would participate in a study using a dilute betadine nasal rinse. I ask if there was efficacy to the study. I was informed their was but was excluded because of a preexisting condition. Dilute baby shampoo kills the virus also. I did the nasal lavage for two weeks with baby shampoo. and had very mild covid case.

The hubs had two strokes last summer, the second one being the worst. While visiting him in the ICU, the nurse started swabbing his nose and of course I asked what she was doing. She explained that she was applying a solution to the entrance of his nose. This solution they found helped prevent MRSA, that even those patients who recovered from the infection still carried it in their nose. This solution prevented reinfection. The product is called Nozin, she gave me the empty packet to look it up. It’s all natural, and going by the ingredients it’s like hand sanitizer for the nose. I did purchase some for him when he was discharged, never know what would come home with him. Don’t know if it would work on the flu, but didn’t hurt to try it. I personally use a Neti pot weekly. But if anyone is interested you can research Nozin.

(from the article):" Probably the most transparently wrong choice that our federal government/CDC/Dr. Fauci/mainstream media made during the past two years
has been the desire to shut off, and even demonize, discussions about therapeutic options to treat COVID-19.
They did this so we would focus instead on the vaccine as the end-all and be-all "cure."
Unfortunately, because COVID-19 is much like other respiratory viruses, mutating too frequently for vaccines to catch up,
and because the mRNA "shortcut-to-cure" spike protein–centric vaccine is tremendously less effective than naturally acquired immunity
(2), it is past time to focus on therapeutic measures."

A regular nasal cleansing would probably be effective in minimizing aerosol covid risk, despite the numerous variants that may arise.
Also, why is it that the FDA/CDC never issued any guidance on therapeutic measures or homeopathic remedies for treating covid (?)
but instead focused singularly on the mRNA vaccines owned and operated by Big Pharma, even though break throughs were being reported. Think about that one for a while ...

Ingredients for Nozin.....

Ingredients for Nozin® Nasal Sanitizer® antiseptic
Active Ingredient:
Alcohol (62% antiseptic)

Inactive Ingredients:
jojoba, water, orange oil, lauric acid, benzalkonium chloride, vitamin E

Nasal Sanitizer® Nozaseptin® formula combines ethanol with antioxidant rich natural emollients. This provides a highly effective antiseptic for the nose in a pleasant and moisturizing application.

I think I’ll stick with my Betadine (iodine) nasal sanitizer/gargle mix. Pennies per spray and easy to make.

“Looked up Xlear and found this:
“The Federal Trade Commission sued Xlear, Inc., a Utah-based company, for violating the COVID-19 Consumer Protection Act,
alleging that it falsely pitched its saline nasal sprays as an effective way to prevent and treat COVID-19”.”

And you FELL for THAT?

Did you not read what I already posted above? PROOF that contradicts your deceptive statement.

It is NOT just “saline nasal sprays”. It is a specific spray with grapefruit seed extract and xylitol.

Get informed read here.

And “THEY” said Hydroxychloroquine + zinc and Ivermectin don’t work either.

“THEY” say that masks work too. You have to learn to separate the wheat from the chaff.
