Nice. It’s good to hear a character story come out of a sporting event. So tired of politics, bad character, and social justice warriors.
Saban is the best coach ever. To be the best you have to beat the best. Congrats UGA.
It looked like at the beginning of the game Bennett was going to have another tough game against Bama. But he seemed to gain confidence as the game wore on.
I think that blocked FG was the turning point of the game. If Bama scores a TD on that long drive, I think they would have broken Georgia, but the blocked FG completely switched the momentum.
Can you believe it? I went to sleep at the end of the 3rd quarter, when the score was 13-9 in what seemed to be a defensive struggle.
Then, the fireworks started.
Pretty racist for the white quarterback to steal the national championship from the black quarterback.....

I don’t watch much UGA, Buckeyes fan here. At the beginning of the game, I thought Bennett was going to choke. I thought: That’s the best they could find for QB? Then when he fumbled the ball deep in their own territory in the 4th, I thought that was it.
UGA showed lots of character hanging in and winning. And their defense played as advertised this time.
Bama didn’t quite have the depth this year. It really wasn’t one of Saban’s better Bama teams, and yet they still made it that far.
Very happy that GA won, but I am not sure they proved that they are a better team than Alabama is at full strength.

It was fun to watch an old fashioned FB game played the way it should. The Bennett story is just icing on the cake.
If ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ were candy and nuts, we’d all have a Merry Christmas.
So, no picture of the white quarterback? The whole coverage seems somewhat racist. Nice story, but it was almost as if “We’ll give this guy his due, but this is the end of the story for him, anyway.”

Each team played to their best with what they had on the field. At the end of the game, Georgia came out on top. Good for them and kudos! As for Alabama, they’ll be back another year. But for now congratulations to the best team on the day that won...Goergia!
And what if JT Daniels was healthy all year?
Injuries are a part of the game.
Hollyweird will have to bastardize this story.
Sure would have been nice to see Michigan play Georgia without having to have everyone on the team vaxed within the previous week. Effective, safe, minimal side effects. Hope you enjoy your new modified genetic system and DNA.
That said the dawgs were great then and great last night. Football done right.
