Some pretty simple and inexpensive items can greatly help your eyes.

I drink loose leaf tea. The bag tea is simply intolerable once you’ve had the good stuff. So, 1 cup black, 1 cup white, 1 cup green, and 1 cut Moracan mint tea. That puts my percentage at 296% !

A healthy diet overall helps glaucoma. I have seen that being obese and having diabetes increases glaucoma risk by 2-3X

“A study that included 584 Black women” Did they study WHITE women, too? I'm guessing they broke that sample out because blacks have high cancer rates--maybe the preventive effect was particularly strong among black women.

I have been prescribed eye drops to treat my present glaucoma. The presumption (or hope) is this will slow down the deterioration of eyesight. I don’t think there is anything that can restore my vision to the way it was some 10 years ago. I now refrain from night driving whenever I have the choice. I drink Green Tea. This may also help preserve what’s left of my eyesight.
