Considering Chicago's violence and none of their strict gun control measures working to stop it, Politicians are now telling the people of Chicago to protect themselves WITH WHISTLES.
Michele Smith (D-Ward 43) wants her constituents to wear whistles, which they can blow while running towards armed robbers, should they witness a crime taking place.
Michele Smith sent out an email about the new Whistle Stop program, saying, "The WhistleStop program follows these rules…If you find yourself in a suspicious situation or witness a crime, blow your whistle. If you hear a whistle, call the police, then move toward the source while blowing your own whistle."
She claimed that blowing a whistle while running at the robber "forces the offender to flee, and helps the police pinpoint the location of the crime."
That's right, whistles.
She wants you to whistle your way to safety.
This is what you get when you rely on the government to keep you safe.
They turn you into referees.
These people don't have real solutions.
This is the same politician who stated that she believes NO ONE SHOULD HAVE GUNS.
They really don't care about your safety.
They care about your compliance.
Period.
They want you to be weak, docile, and blowing whistles, not Self-reliant, free, and armed.
Run at people carrying guns in a threatening manner? That worked really well for them in the Rittenhouse case.
Just to be sure, get vaccinated first.
Or you could get a gun.

Why not. Use a gun. They’ll let you out without bail, so long as you take the perp’s valuables, or rape him or something, as well. Just don’t let them know you’re a vigilante. Shhhh!
THE ONLY THING GOVERNMENT PROTECTS IS ITSELF......................
Good idea, also when you are alone or in a group with a chain saw murderer after you, hide behind the chain saws - it's safe there, trust me.
