Horrifying footage has captured the moment a teenage mother hurled her newborn baby into a dumpster - before the infant was found alive hours later.
Surveillance video shows a woman arriving in a car before opening the back door and tossing a black trash bag into a dumpster in Hobbs, New Mexico, at around 2pm on January 7.
Six hours later, footage showed three people looking through the dumpster before one of them found the infant inside. Incredibly, the newborn was alive and is now in a stable condition while being cared for in hospital.

She was too stupid to take the infant to a church or firehouse for protection I guess.
Most fire stations will take a baby, “no questions asked.” If you have a cat or dog and can no longer provide a home, and drop the animal off at a shelter, you will be screened and asked to pay a fee.
Yeah, you can leave an infant at any fire house in the USA without questions asked. (I was going to put that in my reply but I wasn’t sure if it was still the case.)

Stupid, worthless woman. There are SO MANY birth control products available, there is no reason to be pregnant against one’s wishes. I feel that ignorance and laziness are the reasons women continue to get pregnant. Sadly, I think this woman will not serve time in prison.

THIS is the ONE THING that absolutely makes my blood boil, you can get birth control today EVERYWHERE and there are so many different options right down to patches for God’s sake!! There is NO EXCUSE for abortion today NONE!! You can take a baby leave it on the steps of ANY police or fire station NO QUESTIONS will EVER be asked and baby will be adopted to a loving family!! What the hell is wrong with people today we have made things BEYOND easy for young women today and YET they STILL kill their babies in the womb and after birth!!

I believe all records regarding the ongoing life of the infant should be forever sealed from access by the mother. If she over time wants forgiveness that is for a conversation between her and G-d, it is not an emotional burden her child should have to join in.
Unfortunately, she’ll get a slap on the wrist and will be pregnant again by next weekend.

Back in the late ‘70’s I was working in a construction union in NYC, in the South Bronx, Kingsbridge Road on what would become a VA hospital.
This was when crack cocaine had first made it’s appearance and New Yorkers had never seen anything like it.
One cold January morning I went out to throw some trash in the dumpster and spotted what I thought was a tan baby doll.
Looking at it a little closer I saw that it was a baby. Frozen stiff. Dead. Still had the umbilical cord . I threw up, told my boss and he called the cops.
That still gives me nightmares.
