Not long enough for BLM. Expect peaceful rioting.

Warning to Whites: Don’t kill Black thugs.
Remember, children, always shoot, shovel and shut up.
I thought that now that we b woke, we weren’t going to put people in prison anymore.
These 3 imbecile’s ruined their lives to chase down and shoot a black man who they suspected of casing their neighborhood.Enjoy prison morons.
If the roles were reversed (as they are MULTIPLE TIMES every year), the black killer would get 20, 10 with good behavior.
So they have to keep his dead body around for 20 years after he dies?
If only they killed a white guy, they’d probably just get probation
In Australia, they are ordering non-vaccinated people to not leave their homes for any reason, no work, not even an hour exercise outside. Even convicts in most modern prison settings, are guaranteed by the courts, the right to outside exercise whether they are vaccinated or not. Even inmates in special housing units have to have an hour of outdoor exercise each day. That's their right by law.
No winners in this situation. Sad, sad, sad.
Stay out of other people’s fights.
Yes, Arbury was (by all appearances) a bad guy bent on bad actions. Karma caught up with him.
In this particular instance, he hadn’t apparently done anything beyond basic trespassing. There was nothing warranting armed apprehension, with risk of terminal consequences.
Wasn’t the McMichaels’ property, wasn’t their fight to initiate. Travis brought a loaded gun into play, off-safe, finger on trigger, pointing at another person (or close enough for high risk it would end up that way). Arbury wasn’t the one violating 2 or more of The Four Rules.
Yes, grabbing the wrong end of a gun was Arbury’s move and a really bad idea. He didn’t put the gun there, McMichaels did.
Don’t confuse this with Rittenhouse, who made a concerted effort to disengage, firing his grabbed gun only when others eliminated his options. McMichaels could have disengaged at any point, limiting options to little more than grabbing the gun (yes Arbury had options to disengage, but opted closer to “stand your ground” while McMichaels pursued).
Yes, Arbury got what karma dictated.
McMichaels had a chance to not take dictation.
Arbery pleaded guilty to charges he carried a gun onto a high school campus in 2013, a year after he graduated. Rodney Ellis, police chief for the Glynn County school system, testified at Wednesday’s hearing that Arbery tried to evade officers on foot and stopped only when two of them pointed guns at him.
Officer Robert Mydell of Glynn County police testified about Arbery’s 2017 arrest on charges that he tried to steal a TV from a Walmart store. Court records show he pleaded guilty to shoplifting.
Two other officers testified they recalled encounters with Arbery, saying he became angry when questioned. He was not charged with crimes in either instance. And a local convenience store manager, Crystal Wilson, told the judge about a young Black man who several times stole food. Wilson said she recognized it was Arbery after seeing his photo in the newspaper after his death.
Of course the MSM portrayed him as an affable fellow who aspired to be a football star.
A lot of comments about how stupid these three were in the situation. Fair enough.
Not a lot of grasping that this sentence is intended to dissuade gun owners...even the non “stupid” ones, from arming in situations where the use of force may be necessary and legitimate.
Georgia is hard on murderers.
The guy who is videoing should appeal. Photography isn’t a crime.
